How what is handled?

Generally, a B2B that the turnaround day is a US port, you must debark and recheck in. Whether you immediately reboard or do so just before regular boarding begins is up to the cruiseline/ship.

How what is handled?

Have read several reviews of the steps that Disney has B2b cruisers follow out of Port Canaveral on the Fantasy & Dream transitioning from the different cruises. Was wondering what the procedures were out of Miami on the Magic???? Was hoping someone has done this a could tell what actually happens.

We did s b2b out of Miami on the Wonder. They're all handled the same way. They had a group of us wait in studio sea until everyone got off the ship and then they led us through imigration. Next we were led back out to port lobby to get new ktw cards and then they boarded us. No one was on the ship yet so you could either go back to your room but you had to stay so we just went out to the hot tub.

When we did b2b2b in Miami on the Magic a couple years ago, it was a little unorganized compared to other b2bs we've done. They had us wait in D Lounge and when everyone else was off, they led us off the ship. We went out through customs (that's where the escort left us). The group of us then headed out and were told that you couldn't get back to the check in area without leaving the building. You have to exit then walk around to the other end of the building (not a long walk, just inconvenient when there are a bunch of busses and shuttles in the area). When we got to the entrance there was a long line of new passengers waiting to get in. The people near the exit told us just to go to the door -- not worry about the line but we got a lot of dirty looks. When we got in, the person there wasn't familiar with b2b so we had to explain and he had to call upstairs. It wasn't a long delay and he let us go upstairs to check back in. In Miami the lobby area has two areas that they board from. The main boarding area was the one furthest into the building. They did early boarding for us from the one on the other end of the lobby -- closer to the entrance. Like I said this was a couple years ago so maybe everyone is more familiar with the process and it is smoother. Just wanted to give you my experience because the building isn't laid out the same so it isn't as easy as PC.

My family and I are doing a b2b on the magic in January. I got the idea from another forum. I can't wait, too excited!
