Does anyone know about Vegas Brazil, LLC Alamo discount?

I've been watching this thread and am wondering if anyone has successfully used this code? It gives me a great rate for mid July. I have a backup through Hertz, but it is about $40 more.

I currently have a reservation for a mid size SUV through Alamo using the Costco code for $280 for 11/26-12-2 and found this thread. I just booked a Standard using this code and the $30 Visa coupon and got a rate of $150.89. I'm keeping both in case there are problems with this ressie. Thank you for posting this.

I've cancelled the res I had booked w/this code since I found a 100% legit rate thru Alamo tonight for a standard (full size) via Disney annual pass code & the $30 coupon ($113)

I am hanging onto my November reservation but will continue to reprice.

happy hunting:)

I just used this code to book two RSVO, one in Oct ($315 for mini van, same as Costco) and one for 11-28 to 12-5 ($237 vs $499 via Costco). It looks legit, but I am keeping both just in case. Oh, I am definitely using the kiosk next time! The counter always takes a long time.

This might be a dumb question; how do I book with the AP discount? We have AP's but I don't know anything about this discount. Can someone please tell me how to do this? Thanks!

Just reporting back. My friend just came back from Vegas. He used this code for a 10 day rental in Vegas and had absolutely no problem whatsoever using this code and the double upgrade coupon. He had tried to check-in at the kiosk but his licence wouldn't scan so he had to go to the counter. The guy at the counter was more interested in trying to sell him insurance than anything else.
No trouble at pickup or upon return. Definitely a recommended code with some great rental prices.

Thanks for the report back. I have a mini van at MCO booked in October with this code so glad to hear no problems.

Great!! What is the double upgrade coupon code? TIA

reading all these posts I am getting confused. My regular car insurance would cover me if I was in an accident. The reservation I made does include cdw. Is that ok or are they going to tack on an additional price for insurance when I get there (even though reservation printout states included).

My sis just tried to use a code...NOT THIS ONE at airport in Denver at Avis. They asked for ID (my BIL forgot to pre-register to bypass counter). They were not able to produce ID and had to find alternate car company. Code used was one we have used and my sister has used numerous times all over country. Just a warning if you get THAT PERSON which unfortunately they did. There was no insurance included on the car they had. That is another thing I don't use is a code with insurance in case of accident and you can't prove affiliation you might have major problems. Just a warning. Know it is not often this happens and like I said it wasn't this code, but just to warn of using codes you don't qualify for.

for anyone unsure about using an unknown code I was just able to book a fullsize car at Alamo using only alamo insider and the $30 off visa code for only $161 just $2 more than using the Vegas Brazil code..HTH!

Just did a backup with insider and visa code, just in case. $2.00 is a great price for peace of mind. Thanks DRdancemom. Do you have to use your visa card to pay in order to use this code?

I guess I'll find out the hard way, having used this code to reserve a one-week rental for the end of August. For my last rental, a few months ago, I checked in online and printed out something called an Alamo Skip the Counter Pickup Ticket. (Not the verbatim title, but that was the idea.) Then I went straight from MCO baggage claim to my desired car and showed my paperwork to the exit gate guy. He mentioned something about pre-paying for fuel, but that was it. I am hoping for the same in August.

Be sure to come back and let us know if you had any difficulty.

I'm going to attempt to use this code in early Sept. I would feel more comfortable if it was at Mco but we are picking up at the port. From what I've found there isn't a skip the counter option. I have a backup reservation just in case. For 2 nights it's $50 ish with this code or $137 with Bjs and alamo codes. That's a huge savings!

Anyone have experience picking up at Port Canaveral?

Only with Hertz. You just leave the terminal and go to where the transport buses line up for the various companies. Hertz is close to the port, and we were on our way shortly in a brand new impala (11 miles on it) back to WDW.

I just booked a week long rental with Alamo using this code & the $30 off code for Nov. 10- Nov. 17 for $129.70! I notice it says CDW included & 1 additional driver included. Is there any reason the CDW would be a bad thing? I'm actually glad it has the additional driver included.

Also, what is the backup reservation? Do you make another Alamo reservation & keep both in case one doesn't work?

Yes, that's what I did. Going to play naive if the first gets rejected.
