Does anyone know about SOG Gold Leaf Plan or other meal/ticket package??

Hi!

We are reserving for next June 2004, and I saw something mentioned about the Golf Leaf plan.

Does it include vouchers for anywhere? Or to only dine in the SOG restaurant? And what is the cost?

To the best of my knowledge SOG did away with the Gold Leaf Plan over a year or so ago. They only have packages at the Christmas Holiday now and that includes a buffet breakfast each morning of your stay and one night you can have dinner at their main resturant.

I have not heard whether they are bringing back that waste of money plan after they reopen, however the old plan did NOT allow meals any where other than SoG. Therefore, you had to come back from whatever you were doing in the parks to be sure you had your dinner at the hotel, otherwise, you lose money because you paid for something you never used.

My advice is to skip the plan or, double check your prices to ensure it is actually a money saver now. Before, it all cost the same amount whether you were on the plan or not. Only difference was you had to eat at SoG for every single breakfast and dinner, or you lost the money for every one in your party for every meal you missed. Who wants to be tied down like that?

I know they received a lot of complaints about the plan (esp around Xmas when they hiked up the price and offered even less) so, it's quite possible they have/will re-do the plan for when they re-open.
