does anyone know about international calling?

specifically sweden. I found a listing through a swedish directory, unfortunately, it's all in swedish and I'm not sure what to dial.

There are two listings I need to try they look like this:

Tel. 123-456789
Merkuriusg. 12, 345 67 GOTEBORG

name name
Tel. 987-654321
Seminarieg, 98, 765 32 UPPSALA

I believe the country code is 46. Anyone know??

Well, to ring the UK from the States it's 011 44 - with 44 being the UK country code so I assume you just need to call

<b>011 46</b> 123-456789

If you aren't sure of the country code just call the International Operator to verify. And Disney Mad is correct, to call internationally from the US you dial 011- country code - area code - phone number.

For Italy my number goes like this 011: (international)-39(country code)-045 (area code) xxx-xxxx (my phone number).

Calling from the US to sweeden...I believe you'll need to do this;

011 = identifies the call as international

46 = country code for sweeden

XX = the city code (which is a part of the listed number)

XXXXXXX=the actual phone number for the party your trying to reach.
