Does anyone here own their own inflatable yard bouncer?

DH and I have been trying to come up with something to buy for our yard for our DS5 to play in that will give him exercise and will not be too dangerous.

I see that a lot of the stores are selling the smaller versions of the "Moonwalk" bouncers in different variations. We were thinking of something along the lines of this below:

First, are they safe and relatively easy to use? Durability?

Yes, we have one of the Bounce 'Round brand bouncers, it holds 2-3 people and works indoors or out (we have a high basement ceiling). It's pretty durable and easy (albeit heavy) to use. Unroll it, plug in the blower and it inflates in like a minute.

We have one of the bounce houses they sell at SAMS club. I think it will hold up to 250 lbs at a time or 4 kids. It inflates in about a minute. I think we paid $249.00 for it.

We have one as well. It is not the type that has a constant blower. You inflate it and that is it. It is kind of like a trampoline that is all blown up with sides all the way around so it's TOTALLY enclosed w/the sides that inflate and netting all around. I'm trying to find a picture. We paid $600 for it but I think you can buy them now for about $200! I think they had them at Sams Club last year. It is durable and a lot of fun. It was safe enough for about age 1 and up!! Great toy. One of the best things I've bought for ds!

My neighbors down the street have one and every time I drive by their house, my dd says, "Mommy, I want that!" So now I speed by their house.

However, if we actually had a yard of our own (we live in a large apartment building), I'd definitely buy her one. She'd have a blast! It looks like a lot of fun.

My niece bought this one on eBay for her daughters' birthday party. I don't know who enjoyed it more--the kids or the adults. Yes, my older sister, my dd, and I snuck into while the little kids were eating ice cream and cake. Everybody loves the Safari Train!

Bob, I can't believe how big your boys are getting!!!! I still remember one of the first pictures you posted of the baby when your wife got them taken at BabiesRus - it was the one with him sleeping on his hands - So cute!!

Thanks for the info - they seem to be a good idea and I need to get something for our yard and this seems like a great thing to get that is good exercise and removable. We recently moved and have a very large yard, and our neighbors have a virtual Amusement park next door and DS5 is constantly begging and crying to go and play with the big kids and their toys.

We have one! We got it for Ava for her second birthday-we went in on it with the Grandparents and SHE LOVES IT! It has one of those constant blowers and its all enclosed. DH calls it the best money we have spent on a toy.

She has even bounced herself asleep because of it.

We have a sports one. We got it at Target on sale for $250. Its about 11' x 14'. Its really big! And it holds 400 lbs. They're easy to set up but getting all the air out and getting them folded up is a pain! We still haven't managed to get it into the tiny little bag provided w/it. They're great though, and the kids love them. I think its worth it to have one instead of renting.
