They look plenty warm, but I worry about my feet getting sweaty and then start smelling. It doesn't look like they can be washed very easily, if at all. Can anyone vouche for these?

slippers

I am on my 3rd or 4th pair of the bootie style - they last about 3 - 4 years - though I wear mine all the time starting late fall and clear up to spring. I haven't noticed them smelling, unless I get bottoms wet by dashing outside - I think they are worth the money

I have Lands End slippers like that. I usually wear socks, too, so they don't get stinky. My DH's slippers that are like these smell and I don't know what to do about it. I was going to try airing them outside and sprinkling them with some odor eater type powder.

No mine don't and I even wear socks - but my feet run cold all winter too - I usually get the men's size as they tend to run a little longer in the toe for me - hope this helps

so is the trick to wear them with socks then? If I'm going to have to wear them with socks, I might as well pass. I don't like wearing socks. Anyone have these that don't wear socks?

I have the ones from beans and I loved them but I wear a light weight sock with them cause my feet are sweaty in the winter time in slippers........they are so darn comfortable that I forget that they are on and try to go out and let the doggie out with them on......

I had some that were very similar. I wore them without socks and my feet did sweat a little in them....making them a little stinky. I ended up putting some baby powder in them and airing them out outside occasionally. This helped. They lasted 2-3 years.

I always got sweaty feet in fleece lined slippers, and now I only wear Haflinger boiled wool slippers. I can wear them year round - they never get stinky.

I had the ones from LL bean, never wore socks and my feet did get a little sweaty in them. After only a year though they fell apart on me..not what I was expecting from a LL Bean product, but they were very comfortable while they lasted!

I have a pair of the suede moccasins from Lands End. I have had them for at least 6 years. They are still in great shape but I only wear them in the winter. I havent had any trouble with them smelling. Sometimes I wear them with socks and sometimes I dont.

I bought both of my boys these for Christmas last year and they love them. The oldest washes his all the time, probably once a week, knowing him, and they do not look any worse for the wear.

I have these. I got them at Kohl's or someplace like that. They aren't "warm" slippers but they keep my feet at the right temp without socks. They have a microfiber insole or something that is really soft. They have a hard rubber bottom so you could go out side in them. I guess I have never washed slippers before. Mine don't smell.
