Does anyone have their windows open?

Honestly, the reason my windows aren't open is because I'm not very bright. We can only have the windows open for a few days out of the year, so I forget that it's a thing I can do when it's nice out.

It's a little warm right now, but I'm going to open them this evening. I love fresh air.

It's cold here at night and would be perfect for leaving the windows open, but unfortunately, people burn stuff (debris and garbage) 24 hours a day, so the smoke is too much to deal with. We just run the AC at night.

Windows are open after 7:00pm. It is still 90 degrees here, but once the sun goes down it gets a little chilly around 10:00pm.

I never open my windows. I bought 5 acres to build my house on so I didn't have to deal with neighbors....only to have a nitwit move in next to me and play Bob the Builder year round.

My DH keeps threatening to make a recording of the construction site at his job and play it over a loud speaker. I just keep hoping his horses will trample him.

So, I never open my windows because the bang, bang, banging is annoying enough with them closed.

It's been absolutely gorgeous here but no open windows because it's ragweed season!

Still to hot and humid here. However, we are in the process of our annual fall head fake. Every year in the Houston area in about early to mid September we get a front that comes through and lowers the temp into the mid 80's. We all get real excited thinking its finally cooling off some, then BAM its back in the 90's and humid as all get out. Right now the mornings are great and definately cooler but I know its just our annual head fake.

LOL...I've never heard of "head fake". It doesn't get consistently cold until February, I think....LOL. One day, I'll send dd to school all bundled, and the next in thinner clothes during the "winter".
