Oh my goodness, I can't believe how excited I am about this! I am sitting at the computer desk in my home on the eastern coast of central FL. I heard a loud noise outside, so I went to investigate (lawn service across the street was making a racket) when I noticed that it was reasonably (as in I didn't have a bucket of sweat pouring off me) cool outside! I stood there for a moment to make certain that it wasn't a freak one second wind I was feeling, and then raced back into the house to turn OFF the air and open the windows. It is not really air conditioner cool, but definitely livable, and with the energy costs and our FPL bill lately, I am very excited about the ability to open my windows and turn off the air. I know it won't last, and it will get back to being hot again, before it really gets cool enough for having the windows open daily, but I am happy for now!! :sunny:

They are open here in CT.
Its actually a bit chilly here at night, I shut some of the windows!!
I love this time of year.

Nah, it is still 85 out. A little less humid, but still warm. I would imagine the East coast of FL has some nice winds from the TS.

all open here in MA -
have been that way for at least a week now... :sunny:

It has been just beautiful here in Virginia for the last week or so, and we’re dying to open the windows at night. But… we just moved into a new home that we didn’t realize is so close to I-95 that the traffic noise would keep up awake. We’re so bummed!

Our window has been open in the dorm room since we moved in 13 days ago. (I'm on the 3rd floor). It's finally becoming more comfortable, although we still have the fans going around the clock. The weather in the mornings is awesome: mid 50's! Can't wait until it's cool enough to close the windows; right now there are a few too many allergens in the air for me, and with a window as big we've got, it's causing some problems. But it is nice to have the fresh air without the humidity that we had last week.

We have had ours open for about a week :sunny:

I would LOVE to open the windows but it's still 100 degrees in Az.

Open in IL. It gets a tad warm in the house between 5 and 8 PM, but by the time I go to bed, it's nice and cool to sleep. We had it on while we were moving in two weeks ago, but once we were done moving furniture around, we turned it off to save electricity. Also because the A/C is on it's last legs, so we don't want to push it and have it break altogether!

I'm over in Tampa and I would love a little breeze. According to the weather, it's 87 here....feels like 93.

I can't wait to shut my air off....maybe next month!

Teresa

Yes...open since May ;)

We are starting to close them at night...getting chilly.

It's in the mid 90's here plus DS and I have allergy problems so no open windows here.

Open and beautiful! Here in NH... One of the many reasons I love fall in New England!

Yes, but I live in west central WI. Nice and cool here. :)

Mine have been open all week and it is wonderful.

We never open our windows. It lets in too much pollen. We have a vent on our A/C that we can open up and then put the air thru filters to clean it before entering the house. We can have the fan run without the A/C on.
