I think they are so cute and want to get a pair or two or three! But, I am wondering if they are wide? I have the Beach and Athens styles and both fit my very wide feet very well! I''m hoping these Scutes will fit well too.

So does anyone have them and are they wide???

Here is a pic:

I just checked the website out. They look great! I might have to get me a pair.

I bought my husband a pair and they definately seem to be on the wide side...much wider than his normal business or tennis shoes. :thumbsup2

I've had mine for about 2 months and absolutely love them! They do fit more like the Beach style...I've got those, too and love them for my Donald Duck feet! The only thing about the Scutes is that my feet did slide more in the downpours last week at WDW than my Beach style. I am trying to get a second pair, but the local store that has them hasn't gotten their new shipment in yet.

ooh, those are cute! I hadn't seen them yet, and now I want a pair, but how do you pronounce scute? Is it like "scoot" or like "cute" with an s on the front? (I'm thinking s-cute!)

Well, I'm not sure how those folks out in Boulder say it, but I've been saying it just like you...like "scoot". I just love 'em!

I bought a pair of Scutes at the AVP Volleyball tournament in Seaside Heights, NJ over 4th of July weekend. Crocs was the main sponsor of the event and had a tent set up on the boardwalk where one could purchase all kinds of Crocs. The Scutes were the least ugly IMO, and after reading about Crocs here, I had to buy a pair.

They are my first and only pair of Crocs, and I do like them quite a bit. I'm a woman's size 7 1/2 and bought a woman's size 7. They're a bit short, but the size 8 looked too wide on my feet.

my brother has a pair and he really likes them.

I bought DH a pair (black w/ lime green, natch!)

They do seem a bit wide to me, just looking at them, but they look fine on him.

I got the black with lime green soles too. Tried the turquoise with gray first, but the lighter color seemed to make them look even wider.

I have to tell you--they've caused quite a stir at our swim club. Many gals there have asked to try mine on, so they can't be that ugly.
.

Those are cute. I just ordered 2 pairs of the Cayman online. They also had a pair of the Beach (in blue only). I already have two pairs but I don't remember the name. They are the ones Hallmark sells. In the picture online I could not see a bit of difference between the Cayman and the Beach.

I have enjoyed my Nile sandals and considered a pair of the new Scutes. However, just ordered a pair of the Crocs Mary Jane sandals today and cannot wait to get them! I saw someone with them on in NYC last week and just learned about them today and ordered! I have also seen the Ballet slipper style of Crocs online, but not yet on the website... :confused3

those are cute. How much do they run?

At least I'm not the only one. What IS the difference?

I believe the Cayman is supposed to run a little narrower than the Beach. Also, it comes in regular whole sizes, so you can get a better fit than the Beach, which comes in size ranges, like 6-7, 8-9, 10-11.

But you're both right, they look exactly the same.

LOL! :teeth: Now that makes me curious... which way do you say them?

When I say "cute", the "u" sounds like "you", complete with the y sound. When I say "scoot", there is no "y" sound, only the "oo" sound, like in food. Does that make sense? :confused3 :)
