Are they just as comfortable as the caymans?

I'm just debating because the cayman 8's feel a touch small, the 9's feel huge.

Any feedback on the flip flops would be great!
Thanks
Stephanie

I have them and DD has them. I have literally worn them all year even this winter except when it snowed or rained. I love them. My sister tried them on and she even liked them so much she is buying herself a pair.

My mom has the flip flop style (I think it's Athens). I have the Beach and the Mary Janes.

In my opinion, the Athen's aren't as comfortable. There's not as much cushioning on the bottom, plus I don't like anything between my toes.

However, the Athens are MUCH more comfortable than any other flip flop I've seen. Just not as comfortable as other crocs in my opinion.

I have 3 pair of the Athens, and love them! I have worn them to the parks and to do a lot of other places. I found them at a Medical Supply store for a little less then anywhere else. They are not quite as comfy as the other 11 pairs I have, but just a tiny bit. I did try on several pair and found that at the time I bought them some of them were more comfy then others, no idea why!

there are also croc flip flops that are called scutes - they are the kind without the thing between the toes - they are the most comfie crocs i own (i have mary janes, beaches and caymans) - they have like a double layer of padding in the sole, which makes them awesome!!! i just got another pair!!!

If you mean the Athens (and not the new Capri flip flops they are selling with microfiber or the Ithaca), I have a pair that I can't wear. I wear flip flops all the time (and have the wide feet to prove it  ), but I think the piece between the toes is just too thick because my feet cramp every time I wear them. It's a shame. I may try the Capris though.

My Scutes Are Great. You Can Get The Actual Size You Need, Not 7-8.

I have the Flip Flops, Scutes, and caymans and the Scutes are by far my favorite. The flip flops are good, but the toe thing is a little thick! Scutes are perfect -- no toe thing and you can out Jibbitz in them!

OMG! I did NOT know they had flip flop crocs without the toe thingy.....I have to get these....I can't stand anything between my toes......

I too think one size croc (cayman) is to snug and the next size a little big but I went with the bigger one and have been wearing them for a year now and I am used to them. They don't seem so big anymore

Has anyone tried the Capri ones? Is there still the same issue w/the Capri's that you have with the Athen's...with the toe thing being too thick?

I just got the capri's, but I am not familiar with the athens. I can tell you that the piece between the toe on the capri's is fairly comfortable. I can't wear flip flops with thick, plastic pieces between the toes, but these are fine. If you are familiar with teva mush flip flops, I would say they were similar in size and comfort.

I was going to tell you what size my Croc flops were compared to my Beach's, but I've wore the bottom off and can't read it. I know I thought I would need one size, but the size smaller fit better. So, I would guess the 8 would work well for you. I wonder if the Capri is narrower than the Athens? Does anyone know? I love my Athens! The toe thing doesn't bother me at all.:confused3

I have them but I had to buy a child's 3 because the women's 5 was too big.

Yes they are comfortable except for the toe piece. It's rather rounded and hurts like crazy. I don't wear them.

I have the Beach, Nile and Scutes, plus two pair of Disney Crocs. The Nile is my favorite pair. I, too, wear them year round, just with socks in the extreme cold and snow (which they have forecast for tomorrow....strange since it was in the mid 60s yesterday) The Niles started out Pearl colored but after repeated washings, with Tide and Clorox, they are now a lovely shade of white. I've had trouble acclimating my feet to the Scutes, not size just feel. I find they all run pretty true to size except the Disney which we had to exchange for the next size up.....something about point of origin, I'm told.

I have a pair and I love them except when my feet get wet, they make my feet itch.

I love my regular Crocs and I think that the flip flops are 110% more comfy than the originals.:goodvibes

I have a pair of the Athens and love them - no discomfort anywhere at all.

I wear them to walk everyday into work, then change into my "work shoes" at the office.

However, my Athens squeak when I walk - I would say about 70% of the time. Some days it's louder than others, and it's rather embarrassing on the loud days. I can't figure out why on some days they squeak and some days they don't.

Found this on another site, and just ordered a pair for $17.95 total! Hope they still have your size! :goodvibes
