I'm looking to get one, to make me a little more accountable for exercise, or lack there of :rotfl: I'm unsure if I want the Flex or the One. Any thoughts or opinions on what you have and how you like it. I'm also very interested on the sleep feature I think that could be very interesting data for me so I can't do the lesser version.

I got the Fitbit One for Christmas. I love it.

I had hit a point in my weight loss that I was just tired of doing it. The FitBit helped me get back on track. Being able to see the activities and calories displayed has been really motivating. One thing I really like is that it will calculate the number of calories you need to consume to hit your goal and it will adjust based on your actual activity level.

I do use the sleep function which has been really interesting. Just the other morning I woke up feeling really tired but I thought I had slept well since I didn't remember waking up at all. Looking at the sleep data I noticed that I spent a very large portion of my night "restless".

I have no experience with the Flex so I can't comment on that one.

I have the One and love it as well. The biggest deciding factor for me was that the One you can clip on your pocket or put in your pocket, but the Flex is a wrist band. I don't ever wear a watch, so having something on my wrist all the time would irritate me!

I've used the sleep function on and off. Again, the wrist band for sleep irritates me, so I don't use it often. But it is an interesting feature!

I currently have the Fitbit One. I purchased my first Fitbit- the Ultra from the FB website. Their customer service is AWESOME! My FB has been replaced twice - free of charge. First time was with the Ultra due to some accounting errors. They were in the process of releasing the One, so sent me that one. The 2nd and most recent time, I put my FB through the laundry. Obviously no fault of the company. Much to my surprise, they replaced this one, too. Even if they had not replaced it, I would have purchased another and probably the One again. Don't know that I'd like to have something on my wrist at all times.

I also use My Fitness Pal app to log meals, snacks, workouts ect. The FB syncs to MFP on both my computer, iPad and iPhone. For me, this is great and helps to keep me accountable throughout the day.

I have the FitBit Force and love it. It has a clock on it which I like so I don't have to wear a watch. My company has a health and wellness program (Vitality) and last year they gave us the FitBit Zip and this year if you reached a certain level (easy to reach) we got the Force. I like that it doesn't use batteries. The sleep function is cool and it has a silent alarm which is very nice.

I have no issues with nickel in the Force that was in the press last week.

I have several friends who have the Fitbit Flex and love it too; no watch on that one.

I am definitely more aware of how active I am with the Fitbits.

People in my office have had the same experience as others with FitBit replacing defective/broken devices.

My husband won an award at his company and got to choose a prize. He let me pick and I got the Fitbit Zip. It's probably the lowest-end Fitbit, but it does what I want, which is to make sure I get at least 7,000 steps in daily. I didn't want the sleep tracker thing and I'm on a very restrictive diet for health reasons so I don't need to track my calories; just wanted the pedometer feature. I love it! Having the clock is helpful because when I do my morning walk I don't wear a watch. When it syncs to my computer and phone it gives me my weekly stats and my "most active" minutes. I could enter my meals but don't bother to and you don't have to. It's also nice to be able to clip it on my pants, to my pocket, or even on my bra.

When we were at Disney a couple weekends ago I logged nearly 20,000 steps in one day ::yes::

ETA: mine has a battery and sends me an email when it's time to change the battery, which I think is very cool!

had the Fitbit Zip when we were at Disney in October and got 20,000 steps in every day. Strangely the clock on it went whacko while flying from PVD-MCO an was ~ 38 minutes slow the whole week which made it kind of hard to figure out times for FP+ and ADRs :rotfl: Didn't correct the time until I got home and synced.

I have the One and have been able to get much more active. I have my friends listed too, and am always trying to "beat" them in steps. Only downside is, it shows me when I'm lazy and I don't like knowing that.

I do find myself looking for more instances of places I can walk to, or flights of stairs I can climb; I'm always getting up and taking a short walk at work instead of sitting at my desk when I'm trying to figure out a problem. It's definitely got me moving more, but there has been no correlating weight loss for me.

I also use the sleep function; it's interesting to see how long it takes me to fall asleep, and how I'm always restless at the same times almost every night.

Edited to add: I also am synced with My Fitness Pal so I can track my food and see how I'm doing on calories for the day.

I'll have to be the dissenter and say we were less than thrilled with it. I bought my wife the Flex and we just returned it. It wouldn't sync properly with our laptop. There are certain phones it will sync with but ours was not one of those.

I got the Flex for Christmas and I love it. I thought about returning it for the Force but I figured the new features weren't enough for me to do it. While it has the clock which I would love it isn't waterproof.

I wear the Flex 24 hrs a day and only take it off when it needs to be charged which is probably every 9-10 days or so. It synchs well with my computer, my phone and my ipad. My phone is an iphone.

I feel the sleep function is pretty accurate. Moreso than I thought it would have been.

I like how it makes me accountable and I can see how much I am walking or not walking every day. I would like to also synch it with MyFitnessPal but I haven't done that yet.

I definitely love it! My sisters had them before I did so I knew what I was getting ahead of time.

So nice to see this post since I just bought Fit Bit, I thought 4. I haven't received it yet. It should be delivered on Monday. I love the fact that it will have a screen right on the wrist band. I also love that you can put in how much you want to lose so hopefully you can reach your goal.

I had a really hard time finding it. On the Fit Bit website they only had back order and the Verizon store didn't have any anywhere and not any in their warehouse. I went to an independent Verizon store and they didn't have any as well. They said that the second they come in they go out. I did find one on Amazon though. They have a few left but only in black.

I just hope that it is easy to program as I am not technically inclined.

I have a Force which I've been wearing about 3 weeks. I sync it with my phone and use MyFitnessPal to track my food. MyFitnessPal syncs to FitBit's site so everything is in one place.

I love that it vibrates when I meet my step goals and I have used the sleep logging a few times. I haven't worn a watch for many years but it was really easy to get used to wearing this, I only take it off when I shower.

I have the one and love it!
I belong to a great group on Facebook....daily posts on what your goals are for that day....mid afternoon check in , evening check in, etc
Great support! :)

Sadly, I just lost my fitbit zip this past Saturday. Not sure where it fell off, and of course I was at 5 different places before I knew it was missing!: furious:

I did love it though!

I think I am going to get a new one, so all of these reviews have been helpful!

My husband got me the Force for Christmas and I LOVE IT!! I love the sleep feature and the clock on it. I only take it off when I shower and it doesn't bother me at all. I never wore a watch or anything on my wrist before it and I don't even notice it anymore.

I have had the fitbit flex for about 8 months now. I do like it, but I did have some issues at first that were resolved.

Also I will tell you, I had to have the band replaced about 4 times now. They keep breaking in the same place. I do wear mine 24/7 though.

The other problem with this one is that if you are not careful it does go into sleep mode if you are not paying attention, like if you are pushing a shopping cart, but that's not really a big deal.

Overall, I guess its not too bad.

one of the employees in my company posted that she lost a lot of steps at WDW with the Flex because she was pushing a stroller and it didn't register.

I am very happy with my Zip. I like that it has a display that tells me how many steps I have. Some of the other versions have to be synced. I don't need one for stairs or sleep, so the Zip works for me.

I just got the Force today. I am not good technically. I did put my information in and got it all set up. I know that this is probably a brain dead question but what do I do? Just start walking and then it tracks my steps? I am planning on starting with it tomorrow. How do I find out how I can lose 8 lbs in 5 weeks? Someone said you can put in how much you want to lose and it will tell you what you have to do to obtain your goal. Also, does it track correctly if you are on an eliptical?

Thanks for your help.
