Does anyone have pics of the pool renovation?

For future reference: doing a Search This Forum from the main camping board page for the terms "pool construction picture" returns 11 threads from the past few months alone that address your question in the thread title. Since the upgrade, search now works, in seconds -- let's start using it folks. This one is particularly humorous to me since there are literally HUNDREDS of pictures of the renovation (thanks largely to TCD) and over 700 posts, yet it's too hard to find? Sorry, this mini-rant is not against the OP, just voicing my frustration with folks not trying to answer their own questions in general, which happens around here ALL THE TIME. This forum is RICH with information, and nearly every conceivable question has been asked and answered a dozen times over (even whether you can 'sub-let' a campsite, LOL), if you'll just look around a little... or better yet, search. Ok, I feel better now.

No bad, this forum is here to ask questions, since the search hasn't worked well in the past, it only makes sense it will take a little time to get use to it actually working.

For a LOT of us...we don't mind answering any questions even though they may have been asked and answered before. IMHO, it's quicker to ask than to search. A lot more fun, too!

All of us were new to the board at one time or another, and we've all posted "tiresome" questions or comments. Therefore....ask away! It builds comraderie amongst us "Fort Fiends"!

Ok, I'm sorry if I got into a bit of a snit. Rest assured that if the OP was a newbie I would never have snipped, but the OP has been on the DIS for 10 years and has over 2800 posts... I would expect they know how to search. Or at least be able to peruse the first page of posts and see if any of the thread titles seem promising. But hey, maybe they were unaware that search has been fixed, and it works, and works GREAT. I shouldn't tell them? That seems silly. Finally, I find it highly unfair that only Pete is allowed to be a prickly-pear, sometimes I want to point out that someone is whining, or acting helpless, or just being annoying! Where are my rights to prickle? It's 247 days to Christmas and I'm not feeling very jolly!

Gotta say I was glad when you let us know that the search was up and running and waaaaaaaaay better than before. I've used it a bunch lately and it's working really well now. It's even... dare I say it.... FAST!
