It seems kind of plain to me, too. I like the "nested" still vases better, they look prettier when you put them up for decoration in your house when you get back. Maybe I'll just buy mine elsewhere.
Google sand ceremony and a lot of different sites will come up sand ceremony kits. Ebay also has a lot of different ones too. I thought the one from Disney was kind of plain too so this is the one I ordered:
We had this one too. It was very pretty and not too hard to get back home, just bring some tape to tape up the stopper so the sand doesn't come out.

I had also found a sand frame which was really cool, I think I saw it on ebay. I really liked that idea too because you could put your picture in it but my then husband to be liked the heart one better. I got to pick most of our wedding elements so I let him have that decision.
With the nicer ones that you both found, how do you pour into the little opening outside without making a mess? Do you have a link of where you bought that?
I have a question regarding the sand ceremony...I know you can include children in the sand ceremony but I have read that it includes step children.
Do you think it is OK to also do it with our daughter which belongs to both of us?

We used that sand ceremony set too! Here is the final product- we had the ceremony with all 3 boys! It was a beautiful part of the ceremony, we wanted to include them and they felt special being included
The front is engraved with our monogram and date- didnt realize this was a picture of the back--
the sand bearly moved in transport- ours came with a foam stopper to jam in the hole, we had the individual vases monogramed with each of our initials and I am going to get more of each sand color and display them as well
Sandy that looks great!! It looks like you had each person pour seperatly, as opposed to each of you pouring together? That seems to be the easist way.
We are having our children do the ceremony too! I haven't found any wording yet, but i'm working on it!
