Does anyone have Fairpoint ??

I live in NH and Fairpoint is taking over the internet next month. I am trying to get info about Fairpoint but everything I find does not support Fairpoint.
I am wondering if I should think about changing my internet provider. I had verizon dsl and had no problems with them.

Note the following...

The northern New England operations of Verizon's wireline business have been merged into FairPoint Communications. The transaction closed on March 31, 2008.

The transaction combined the personnel, local exchange assets and associated wireline business activities of Verizon in Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire with FairPoint.

Essentially, Verizon has decided to no longer provide residential service in New Hampshire.
