Does anyone have experience with a 2 year old wearing a mask at MK?

I didn't think about it that way, but maybe you're right. I have a feeling if a young kid looks like they are around age 2, it's unlikely a CM will ask them to wear a mask. Would be nice if someone that went with a young kid could chime in on their experience.

My understanding is that the policy is children OVER the age of two must wear a mask. A two year old is not over the age of two.

Does anyone have any experience since MK opened back up on 2 year olds wearing mask and how strict the enforcement will be? All the rest of us will be in masks but it maybe problematic keeping the 2 year old in a mask.

It was only on a cast member preview day, but I think enforcement was pretty on par with normal opening. It seemed like if the child was in a stroller, they were assumed to be under the age radar and nothing was said. I didn't have a young one with me myself, but I saw several little ones, even the ones that appeared "too old to be in a stroller", and never saw any enforcement. Those "too old to be in a stroller" may have had masks on to get thru the front gate. But I definitely saw tikes that appeared under 3 (or in that ballpark of age) maskless for the photo CMs.

I've been thinking of bringing our niece who is 2. She won't get to "really" see the princesses, Mickey, etc., but the super short lines kinda make up for it as her first experience.

I suppose it depends on how it’s defined. Is a child who is 27 months old “over the age of two”? It would be clearer if Disney said something like “children who are three and older” must wear masks.

I think a child is two until they are three, so 27 months is two.

If you know now that your child will not follow the rules, then you should not plan on going to the parks.

Disney’s policy is that all guests 2 and older are to wear masks. We are not going to debate the ethics of whether you choose to follow their rules.
