Does anyone have any experience w/MetroJet out of Hartford?

We can get a pretty good fare on MetroJet from Bradley to Orlando-direct flight. We usually fly Delta, and we don't know anything about MetroJet. Any advice or experience? Thanks!

MetroJet is part of USAir and we use them all the time out of Hartford. The problem is that currently they are changing flight times which we have never had a problem with in the past. The service is comparable to most other airlines, so we ususally chose them because of the price. Only once did have have a flight cancelled. It was because of a hurricane in Orlando. They flew us out first thing the next morning first class! Our kids were 2 & 4 years old!

As long as you can be a bit flexible on your departure times, I wouldn't hesitate to book it!

DH and I flew with them last October. They are a no frills type flight just one seating class, no meal. We had no complaints other than they were late taking off both coming and going from Hartford to Orlando, but they must anticipate being late when they give flight times as we were on time arriving at each of our destinations. We love having a direct flight, and at $180 round trip, the price was right! We plan to fly them again if thier prices are still good.

I have always flown Metrojet out of Providence to Orlando. Mostly I have gotten direct flights, but even with a stop in Baltimore I haven't had any problems. We are flying with them in 10 days!!!!! to WDW. I don't think you would have any problems and if the price is right it's worth it!!

My boys are flying MetroJet in a couple of weeks. Their round-trip flight from Boston to Orlando and back cost $93.50. I had some concerns, but I feel better now. And the price was certainly right!

We are travelling Metrojet out of Hartford in November. The only complaint that I have is that we booked two months ago and in that time I have seen our flight times change and now be cancelled totally. Of course we have been put on other flights at times that aren't what we wanted but will have to live with. For example originally our flight home was to leave Orlando at 5:33 pm which gave us a nice last day at Disney. When the first change occured the time changed to 7:45 pm which had us arriving in Hartford at 11:30 (with 2 small kids). The other day I checked our flights and the only direct flight they have out of Orlando to Hartford that day is at 10:30 am. So much for our last day!!!!!!!
I'm sure at this rate our flights will change 10 more times so I'm not getting worked up about it yet. But it is a little frustrating to plan. Poor Tiffany Town car won't know when to pick us up by the time I'm done.
