I'm wondering if the price is worth it for an hour? If my dd goes, she'll want her brother to come along. One place I read it was $30 and another place said about $42 each. I'm assuming it must be the higher price. Seems a bit steep for an hour.

My niece did this a couple years ago.

Once they open the doors, you settle your child in and then you are very nicely expelled :lmao: and told to come back later. The doors are shut, there are curtains over the doors and off you go.

Alice and the Mad Hatter have tea with the kids and play games and generally have a great time. My niece loved it! She had a great time. You also get a photo of your child with the characters in a photo card that is signed by the characters.

The table was decorated with beanies type stuffed toys of the alice in wonderland story, there are colorful plates and confetti on the table.

I have to tell you, I wish I could have stayed!!

I am moving this from the review board to the main Dining Board for more feedback,

My kids did it last summer and loved it! WE have it booked again for this summer. It was really neat and when you come back for them they have a little surprise for you! and they get a framed pic with the mad hatter when they leave. Very cool-they loved it. and yes-it is now 42$.

AllEarsNet.com is a really great place for reviews on such things.

Too bad they don't have something like this for adults! I would really love to see some Alice in Wonderland themed things.

DD did this our first trip. She loved it and still talks about it. I am pretty sure its $30ish and I think it was an hour and a half.

Check in, the kids enter, the parents go relax on the grounds of the Gf.
The kids decorate a cupcake, they play some games, take a picture, dd had a surprise for us at the end.

If your child is very outgoing seat them toward the ends of the long table. DD sat one child in from the mad hatter and still laughs about it. She wont tell the joke but she just laughs alot! (Alice and the mat hatter sit on each end!)

I would highly recommend this of any of the disney things she has done this has been better in her mind than the princess tea party, the pirates cruise, illuminations cruise and Mvmcp.

I was with my Mom that trip (and I 'borrowed' my niece :rolleyes1 )

While she was at her tea, my mom and I did the tea room. We weren't done when it was time to pick her, so i just scooted over, and we went back to the tea room.

If your kids go, let us know how it was when you get back :cool1:

How hard is it to get reservations for this? We're planning a trip in November and coming up on the 180 day mark. Is it something we absolutely have to book as soon as it comes open? My dd will love doing this. Thanks!

I took my 7 year old niece to the tea party last April. She absolutely loved it. I think it is definately worth the money. :)

We are doing this before MNSSHP this year and the price is $42. I believe they serve the kids PB&J sandwiches and apple juice in tea cups along with the cupcake. There is limited seating but I am sure you can get in. It starts at 1:30 (I read somewhere to send a camera in with the kids and the CM will take photos for you) You do have to pay for it advance as oppossed to giving a CC for a hold. My trip is in Sept I will be happy to report on the success or unsucess of it. My guess is it will be a blast
