Our poor pup suffers greatly. Well, I should say that we suffer. I think she actually has developed the licking of her feet and privates, loudly, as a habit.
Anyway, she's been to an allergist and gets shots. She takes prednisone for a bowel problem. She's on a venison and potato food for an alternative protein and no grain. There have been times that she's licking and miserable, but now it seems more like something to do. She's not a big sleeper, and wasn't even before the prednisone, so she's just awake more than other dogs.
