We have an Evenflo trifold stroller we love but the thing is on its last legs. Its lasted us a LONG time though, five years and two kids. Anyway, we love the tri-fold design and its lightweight but I have not been able to find a new model of it but did find the Combi Savvy Soho which seems to be very similar.

If you have one, do you like it?

TIA.

I absolutely love mine. We have two. One for our almost four year old and one for our 18 mos old. It is easy to fold, pretty light and seems comfortable for the kids. We bought connectors to hook them together to use as a double when we are out and about. I was surprised how well they worked. I'm 5'8'' and it is comfortable for me push and it rides smoothly. :)

I bought one today! DH and I went to Babies R Us to buy a stroller cover. I had dejectedly resigned myself to the fact that I'd have to lug our HUGE Peg Perego down to Disney, but he bought me the Combi Savvy Soho I'd been wanting, saying "Let's go, before I changed my mind!" AND he let DD22mos. pick out the color (we ended up with the Claret red one). It was $99.99 and I was sooooo excited...

BUT..........

I went to our newly remodeled Target tonight, and they had the COMBI SAVVY SPORT model for $69 in stock, which they didn't have last week when I looked. :sad2: CAN ANYBODY TELL ME THE DIFFERENCE? Is it worth it to save $30? We're only going to MK for one day before DH has to go to a conference.

I saw the $69 one at Target, too, the DAY AFTER I bought one from Babies R Us for $99! I can't see any differences, if there are any! And Target is offering free shipping on it now. (They call it the Combi Savvy Soho Sport).

Anyway, we have a City Savvy, and I love it. Very easy to steer (especially compared to our big Graco), easy to collapse and open, shoulder strap for carrying, lightweight, small storage basket...perfect for Disney! Oh, and it reclines (for naps in the park :) ).

Great! Thanks! I think ours is going back to BRUs, although DH has already put it together. The diff almost pays for our character breakfast w/ Pooh! :earboy2:

Gypsy-
Definitely check out the one at Target before you make poor DH take the BRUs one apart! There has to be some difference between the two, but it still might not be worth an extra $30! They look almost identical, and the Target one has all the features I liked, so I'd go for it! :cheer2:

There is a Target right up the road! I am going to go and see if they have one and try it out. Thanks!

AUBURN-- Thanks. I told DH about the one at Target, but given that he'd have to take the one apart, put it back in the box, drive it back to BRUs and then go to Target, we decided just to keep the BRUs one. Heck, the gas it'd take to go back to BRUs is practically the difference anyway! :rotfl:

But for those of you who are wondering, I really couldn't tell the diff. I wanted the sport one on the Target web site that was banana yellow, but shipping time was two to three weeks :earseek: . Plan accordingly if you're going to use it for a trip. Our store carries it now, but didn't until it recently expanded.

And we took it to the mall today. It was FANTASTIC. Well worth the $99 we paid at BRUs.

hi guys - we have this stroller. we bought it just for our trip last month. it was soooooooooooooo easy to use on/off the busses. we actually had several people a day talk to us that had "stroller envy" when they saw how easy it was to carry and fold!

I have two combi strollers. The one is 11 years old and is a Savvy Z. It weighs 7 pounds and is awesome for Disney! I tried to find a newer model, but I think they've stopped making them. We have the ultra savvy with the acoustic hood, and I would not recommend that one. ALthough, the aucoustic hood is great!

Oh, we're back. I have to say the Combi Savvy SoHo was an absolute lifesaver. We had a great time and DD22mos. even pushed it all over the hotel room herself and kept climbing in it and locking herself in. She even fell asleep in it as we were leaving the park for naptime, so I just let her sleep in it and we found a cool, quiet spot to sit for about an hour.

The biggest problem was the fact that the back beneath was pretty small. My Vera Bradley diaper bag was WAAAYYYY too big. We went to the World of Disney @ DTD and bought a cheap nylon backpack to use instead, so if you have a large diaper bag you might want to think about getting a smaller one before you go to save money. The ones they give you from the hospital when you leave would be just about the perfect size...unfortunately we didn't even think to bring it.

I just ordered this stroller from specialtybaby.com and got it for $79 plus FREE shipping and it's not the sport model - they had it on sale! I am so excited. I have been researching umbrella strollers like a mad woman and reading this post made me feel even better with my decision. I sat my son in the Volo yesterday ($99) and the harness was too hard to put on and off. Plus it wasn't padded - the Soho looks very comfy with the padded harness. Unfortunately, I haven't gotten to try this stroller out because the are no dealers in our area. I hope it works because I hate to send it back. Oh and we had to order two since we have two babies!

It is very important to me that the Savvy Soho is easy to open and close...please tell me it is! Storage isn't as important to me. I can't wait to get it!

Oh, and how much do you have to put together out of the box?

We bought the model at Target. It is very easy to open and close and has a carrying strap to free up your hands, especially if you have to stand on the bus. You should love it...

I think everything's been said, but I have to add that we have all the different Combi Strollers - we love our Travel Savvy stroller. It has been to WDW three times and is still kickin' Its the easiest best stroller in my mind.

So that being said, I also wanted you guys to know that I know of no other stroller company with a better customer relations department. Our first large combi stroller had a jiggly wheel. We called the company and they immediately shipped off a brand new stroller to us free of charge. After two years this new stroller suddenly had a hard time locking in place after being folded. Again, customer service sent us a brand new stroller free of charge. No questions asked, they just shipped us a new stroller each time. They instructed us to cut out the seat bottom of the stroller being replaced, but that was their only requirement. We now have fleets of combis in our garage, but we use all the parts of the strollers interchangeably - i.e. I use the larger model trays on our travel savvy all the time with a little engineering.

I recently purchased this stroller for our upcoming trip to Disney, we have only tried it out around the block, but it worked well. I am looking forward to using it on the buses, I think the carrying strap will be wonderful. I think the differences between the $69 and $99 is the size of the canopy, basket and the $99 one has a full recline--which to me was worth it. The $99 one also comes with a decent carrying bag. :flower:

Yea, it's a nice bag to have when traveling. You should have gotten it with that model, I think.

Found it! It was at the bottom of the box. Glad DH never throws boxes away.
