Does anyone go bagless?

i WISH i could go bagless, but alas i can not. i have medication i need to keep with me at all times. and one of them is for asthma and i can't fit that bulky inhaler in my pockets no matter how hard i try. i bring a tiny little purse with my that's slung around my shoulder and i sometimes bring a fanny pack if i bring my camera just so i don't really have to "carry" anything.

Zippered cargo pockets are the way to go. When I took my sabbatical a few years ago, I spent the entire summer (including 2 weeks at WDW) using just 3 pairs of zip-off pants... which of course gave me 3 pairs of pants, and 3 pairs of shorts :)

I would carry a credit card, room key, annual pass, and small amount of cash. At the end of the summer... it seemed strange to sit on my wallet again.

When I go in January w/o my kids, I am going bagless and I'm excited about it. It'll be nice to not have to lug a bag with me :cool1:

Our next trip ds will be turning 7 and dd4. I'm bringing a stroller for dd it's collapsible for the buses but has a pocket underneath where I stash our 1 bag w/ kids change of clothes, a few snacks, and some water. I love not having to carry it. Our camera clips on our belt loop, and I hold tickets, room key in zippered pocket. BUT.... when we no longer need a stroller, I guess each of us (or me) will carry the snacks, water, etc. Or we try and go bagless. Can't imagine that now.

No bags here. Just pockets and one of those card carrying things from TL/BB (which BF wears around his neck).

Maybe it'll change when we have children though (although I doubt we'll be taking them until they can walk/talk/toilet on their own - we're from the UK, so the 9hr flight has to be taken into consideration!).

I carried a SAK purse. The original REAL slim small ones that you wear across the chest. Big enough for a coin purse and camera. It was great, though I still had to go through security, but they see the size of it and just wave me through.

DH and I are bagless too. I LOVE my Columbia water shorts - 2 deep side pockets, plus small zippered pockets on the sides and back. Very comfy and quick dry too. I can put the few things I carry in my pockets - room card, tickets, photo ID, lip balm, a few aspirin, and $$. We already have tons of photos, but if we want the camera I just slip it in my pocket.

Hey there! What does everyone do with their bags while on the rides? I am paranoid about it getting stolen. What about those lockers? Do you have to pay again every time you open them? :confused3

I usually hook one of the handles around my foot or stuff it in the space along side me or between myself & dd.Once you pay for your locker and get the key you can go back anytime without paying ... at the end of your day just take the key back and you'll get your deposit back ( think it was $2 but don't quote me on the price,it could have changed since January) :sunny: !

Thanks Munckin! I will probably do the locker thing then. The amusement park by us makes you pay again every time you open it!! My fiance will have cargo shorts but I don't want to weigh him down..lol I have to bring sunscreen since I will burn in 5 mnutes without it and he drinks water 24/7! :goodvibes
P.S. Looks like we will be in WDW at the same time!

I, too, now go bagless :cool1:

Got tired of my sons laughing when I had to open every tiny compartment on my waist pouch while they sauntered through in their cargo shorts with enough pockets to carry a small arsenal.

We are leaving on Saturday and will definitely be bagless! Between DS7 and I we'll have a mister fan on a strap, two tickets and some cash in our pockets (we're staying at the Swan or we'd skip the cash and charge it all) and maybe a couple of kleenexes. What else do you really need?

i have a small 5x7 envelope type shoulder purse for passes, chapstick, comb etc, if it doesn't fit in that or one of our pockets (with the exception of my camera and lens which are crammed in to their own bag), it stays in the room

Glad I could help! see your also from NY! What resort are you staying at-We are at Pop! :cool1:

We don't ever carry a bag. Everything we need fits in our pocket and one of us will carry the camera on our shoulder. Granted, it's just me and my husband, no kids. Thankfully I won't have to do WDW with them and have to find a place to fit the kitchen sink :)

I have to carry a bag in order to carry a thin jumper around with me. I find it hot outside (of course) but I find the air conditioning so cold I have to take a jumper wherever I go
