Does anyone ever leave Fantasmic! before it ends to catch one more ride on RnR or ToT?

Is there an exit that puts you closer to these 2 attractions or do you empty out by the front of the park?

Sure.
If you plan on doing this, sit as close to the very top of the theater as you can, and on an aisle.
It will disturb fewer guests as you leave and you can get out much faster.

Leaving via the normal, main central path is the way to go.

I do not. I figure that I will enjoy what I am doing and not worry about getting out to get to something else.

I'm not saying not to. Just that I fint

I don't simply because we usually go
when Fantasmic is after park close so the ride lines are already shut down and the only thing you can do by leaving early is shop or get to the buses before everyone else.

I usually leave about the time the show boat comes around, but I am usually just trying to get to the buses.

Unless there is a second Fantasmic on a night you are going, the rides will be closed by the time the show ends.

Not necessarily.
The DHS closing time and F! are not automatically related every night, nor every season.

I do it because I love ToT at night.

Last time, I got to ride it during a thunderstorm--a truly authentic experience, especially with a lightning strike happening right as the doors opened!! Disney's special effects are great on the ride, but having real lightning? It was as though I was truly going to go to the Twilight Zone, and the only student I would have to teach would be Sally Shine (although Dewey Todd could possibly also use some lessons in running elevators).

I would have been terrified!

Nope... nope...nope. :goodvibes

I am too much of a crazy Disney Freak that when I go to see Fantasmic! I stay for the full show, and slowly wander out afterwards with the rest of the crowd. :rainbow:

I just happen to enjoy people watching, and leisurely strolling out after a full day, listening to all the night sounds of the park. Saying good night and thank CM's that I meet on my way out, just acknowledge them after a full shift's work. :flower3:

There will be a bus or boat there waiting for me when I get out and I will get back to my resort eventually. As the journey back is also a part of the fun for me, even though I might be dead tired and have acing feet, I really like to travel through The World in the evening too. :dogdance:

:tinker:

I do too. It's a different World when the sun goes down.

I left early bc i had a FP for TSMM, but there was also a 2nd show that night. We followed Robo's advise and left with about 5 minutes left in the show. We rode TOT during the 2nd show.

I just want to add to the people planning on leaving early to please try and sit as far up and to the side of your row. Nothing more disruptive that a bunch of people getting up in the middle of a show and trying to leave, you block everyone's view and disrupt the flow of the show for the people that are trying to see the whole thing

I agree. My favorite part is when the boat comes around the corner and then there's an explosion and all the characters start dancing. I took my niece a few years ago and couldn't wait for her to see that part. We said on an aisle to get a good view. When that moment happened, a bunch of people in our row decided to leave and were walking in front of us. She missed it. Please don't pick the moment when the boat appears to leave.

I am sorry but unless you on the end of the last row it's RUDE! You are not invisible and having you stand up and walk up the aisles blocks the view of the other guests. So stay until the end!

I appreciate everyone's thoughts. We are going in a few weeks, and so far, there isn't a 2nd show scheduled, so doing the rides during one of the shows isn't an option. My DSIL will be joining us for the first time, and I'm trying to make sure he gets to experience as many great attractions as possible. Although we enjoy Fantasmic!, it's not our favorite, and I'm not anticipating it will be his. I was just going to play it by ear and see how he likes F! before deciding whether we should go on one last RnR or ToT.

Of course, whatever we do, we'll be respectful of those around us. :flower:I hate when people are inconsiderate of others and will definitely make sure to sit towards the back and at the end of a row so we don't disturb others. I'm glad some of you mentioned that doing this is important though. We all need to be reminded to be considerate of others.:thanks:

I am one that usually leaves early, but rest assured I am very conscious of whether I am blocking someones view. I travel solo and always sit on the end as high up as possible. Frequently I sit in the upper deck area.

Also, I love ToT at night. In fact, I rarely ride it during the day!

I actually think leaving early from a show seating area is incredibly selfish. You know how long the show will be. You know leaving will be disruptive for others (no matter how you try to minimize it.) And the same people whose experience you're disrupting are the ones you want to beat to the exits, making their exit take longer a couple of minutes later. Just a disrespectful thing to do that tells everyone whose view you're blocking that you think you're more important than they are. I used to think that when I lived back home in NYC and rude tourists would try to beat the rush to the exits by blocking the last few minutes of a Broadway show, and it's the same thing at Disney.

And if someone is savvy enough to want to leave early, it means it isn't the first time they've seen F!, nor will it probably be the last. But given the demographics of Walt Disney World, it probably is a once-in-a-lifetime show for lots and lots of the folks whose view of the finale you're blocking. Is it really fair to ruin their magical experience because you want to put your experience selfishly first? Unless your child is melting down, your spouse is going into labor, or you suddenly spontaneously combusted and need to get to a fire extinguisher pronto, don't do it.

I agree. That's my favourite part too so the people that stand up to leave and get in the way are being very rude!
