Does Anyone else think Universal needs a new website?

Is it me or does the web site do a poor job of portraying the excitement and fun of the place?

What video's of rides that there are are small and there is little information about the resturants.

I would like to see higher quality video; more complete resturant menus and hours; as well as some virtual tours of the areas including the play areas and resturants

Anyone else think that would be a good idea?

I agree, but marketing seems to be Universal's big problem ever since the rest of the resort was built (IOA, Citywalk, hotels)

You'd think Universal would have an excellent marketing department. I don't get it. :confused3

I agree with you all and I also think they should make the videos on the rides longer cause they are way too short

I think it does a good job of showing you what you're in for without giving too much away. :)

Honestly, compared to all the other theme park websites that I've been to, Universal's is one of the best. You probably won't think so but believe me.. visit some of the other ones.

I've been looking at SeaWorld's website for some info. WHAT A NIGHTMARE. I was actually CALLING SeaWorld with questions yesterday when I'm usually the king of navigating websites.

I agree Universal's is not nearly as bad as Sea World's. Theirs is probably the worst in terms of navigation! That said, I would like to see a bit more from Universal still!

I don't see how people can find Universal's website annoying to navigate. You scroll over what you are interested in and then a drop down tab will display more info to choose from. Its pretty straight forward to me. I think its on par and maybe better then Disney and far superior then Sea World. As Nerdboyrockstar stated its a nightmare, go try to navigate Sea World's site and then go to Universal's site and see which is annoying.

I agree. And also, IMHO, I wish they'd use professional photography instead of using customers pictures. You don't really get a feel of anything from them. Oh well.

LOL I was talking about Sea World's when I said it was annoying to navigate. You can find much better info on the DIS boards!:rotfl:

My only problem with Universal's website is no online store. As for navigating, I've never had a problem with it.
