Just wondering if it me or does anyone else skip the parades? I have seen all the parades at least once.
I would much rather go on the rides. It is not that I don’t like them. I know some people go really early to get a “good spot” to view the parade and wait with great anticipation. Not me I keep on going. Anybody else out there that would rather do other things then watch the parades?

we do, but we don't have any kids.

We skip them now. After waiting at the curb only to have someone push in front anyway we decided its just not worth it.

We do love the castle forecort shows and can't wait for the new one.

:Pinkbounc The only parade I would absolutely never skip was the Main Street Electrical Parade while it was at WDW. Since that has left, the time during parades has become a great time to go on rides that are normally very busy. :Pinkbounc

we've seen all the parades so we do skip them - ride the rides, see the shows during them

Parades are not high on my priority list. Last year if we happened to be in the area when a parade was starting we watched it. But we didn't make any definite plans to watch.

We've only seen a couple parades because we have two small kids who are napping in the afternoon when they happen. Really would like to see Spectro but, for some reason, the schedule has never worked out. Maybe next time!

I have two boys - they don't seem too interested either.

I do have fond memories of the Main St. Electrical Light Parade.

We do, parades aren't that interesting to me. I haven't even seen any of the parades at WDW, I've just watched for a few minutes. I have seen all of the parades at Disneyland though.

Me either. Haven't seen a WDW parade since the MGM Aladdin parade (loooong time ago). Don't like 'em, too many people pushing and shoving and I can never see anything anyway.

i Haven't ever watched the parades. I am always too busy riding stuff.

We don't really have any interest either. We don't have any kids, and it's a great time to ride the rides.

We do not watch the parades. I can't stand getting stuck in one place while they are going on.

We almost always see the parades, but I have two little ones, DD5 and DS 2, so they really enjoy them. On our last trip my DD was 4 and we were watching the Share A Dream Come True parade in the magic kingdom with all of the princesses and she was picked by the princess "helpers" to go and meet all the princesses, I think I was more excited about it than she was!!

Although if we didn't have kids, I don't think we would watch them, or when the kids get tired of them, we will stop watching.

We have always liked the Mk parades, and have seen the other parades once each. The only one I would wait for now is Spectromagic. While I still think the parades are magical, I feel kind of freed from the tyranny of parades. We no longer have to spend hours waiting for one. We no longer have to get aggravated by rude people sticking their backsides in front of you at the last minute. All in all, I am glad the parades are there to draw crowds away from the rides. :cool1:

We pass on the parades also, my DD's 7 and 9 saw them once said woohoo that was great, but have always said they'd rather hit the rides than see the same parade again. :flower:

When they get something new we'll watch it atleast once. :teeth:

I skip them. I saw part of Spectromagic last year (I think that's what it's called) while I was running to the bus. I wanted to get out of the park before I got trampled.

ETA: Hey, this was my 3,000th post! Yikes, I talk a lot! :teeth:
