I was just watching it today on SoapNet. I have all the seasons on DVD that I pull out from time to time, but I would love a reunion show.

Yes! I used to love that show. I have seasons 1-5 on DVD. I didn't enjoy the final seasons as much but I do miss Stars Hollow! My mom and I used to watch it all the time when I was in high school. I always wanted Rory to end up with Jess.

Rory with a more mature Jess would have been interesting. I thought she was right to leave Logan after his showy proposal.

Ugh, I was never a fan of Logan.

In my high school years I wavered back and forth between Jess and Dean almost every week. I always had a soft spot for Jess, though. My mom was a HUGE Dean fan so that may be why. Rebellion.

I loved the show but the final episode was such a bore, the whole show started to unravel at the end which was so disappointing.

I would like to see a reunion show, or even a new series picking up the characters lives here and now. I don't think the show ended because of the people in it, it seemed more as if the writers just lost all their shine and the story-lines lost their pizazz.

I do! a few years ago I had never seen the show but dh and I were on vacation in CA and took a tour of the warner brother lot. we saw a lot of the gilmore girls sets, so when we got home I watched the show one night to see how the sets looked on tv. I was hooked! it was a later season, so I netflixed all the earlier ones and it was so fun getting to know the girls and their world. I really miss them. that last season was painful, though, I thought it was awful. would love a reunion, but only if it had the original feel to it.

ETA -- I was kind of disappointed in the final episode, but I liked it up until then. I would love to see a reunion.

That's because Amy Sherman Palladino(the creater and head writer) left before the last season and had nothing to do with it. The final season is definitely my least favorite out of all of them.
Oh yeah...I always hated Dean..he was SOOO boring. I really loved Jess though and I did warm to Logan eventually. TO my DH and I, Logan actually ended up a more likeable character toward the end than Rory. I could have done without how annoying they made her the last season.

I agree about Logan & Rory. Both Rory & Lorelai have a talent for running amuck like self-centered tornadoes in the lives of those they get involved with.

Watching the show unfold I really came to the opinion Emily was my Gilmore Girl. She had her flaws, however she worked like a dog to find a way to keep connected to Lorelai & Rory. Truly, Lorelai raises her daughter as a single mother, moves into her thirties and still can't respect anything about her parents?

I loved the way it ended.

I found Emily extremely annoying. I think Lorelai has good reason not to respect Emily and to a lesser extent, Richard. Richard and Emily are the ones who ran amuck creating tornadoes.

Oh man, this thread makes me want to pull out my GG DVD's and start watching!! I always loved the winter episodes with a snowy Stars Hollow. Heck, who am I kidding, as soon as I hit sumbit I'm going to go find them.

I watched on and off, but I always caught the re-runs and syndication.

I once had a job interview at WB and had to walk across the greens of Stars Hollow to get to the office for the meeting. It was awesome!

I watched the show in it's original run ,then on DVD and then started over on soapnet. Then once the series was done on soapnet it started over again! And yes, I'm watching again!

Me too! I watch it everyday on ABC Family (even though it is not on this week) I have watched the entire series from beginning to end countless times!
