If you spent all of that time to call Disney Dining, you must have had a huge amount of guilt. No one is trying to change your mind, but when you flaunt your ignorance all over this board, people are bound to respond. I guarantee you have spent more money in wasted time and energy than you would have spent had you bought your 7, I mean, 3 year old a meal. Give me a break...isn't your own child worth a few bucks.

I've just got 2 "words" for you :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

You have wasted 11 posts. Not one thing you have said has changed my mind. Keep posting. I think you are enjoying this. Just a little side note . I just got off the phone with disney dinning. I talked to a lady and told her the situation with my daughter. That she was two when I booked it but is now three. "She" told me I would not worry about it. If it was a difference of a year that would be a concern. A couple months is not what they are concerned about. She also said don't loose an ounce of sleep over it. Now I feel so much better. She also laughed when I told her about security taking me out. Her advice was to stay away from the disboard and pose the questions and feedback to them. I think that is a great idea! I've cleared myself with Disney. Lulu, you can rest easier tonight. No crime was commited. THE END! I forgot about the question of using last years mugs this year? Is that also bad?? Seriously, THE END!

You know for someone who doesn't care what we all think here on the Disboards, you sure are going out of your way to try and prove us all wrong! :teeth:

I do not think Lulu was losing sleep over this.

I do however think you were losing sleep.

You were so lucky that you talked with a very kind lady at Disney dining who tried to ease your consious. It was very sweet of her.

This would be the funniest thread I've read in a long time if it weren't so sad.... Not one person has stood up for the OP in 124 posts. How does that not tell her anything??? Maybe next year she can sneak her kid into the parks in her backpack since she thinks ticket prices are too high...

I have to sum this whole post up with two words. You people are NUTS!

That would be 4 words. Another lie.

If I were to poll 50 people I would bet 40 would agree with me. 100%!

40 out of 50 is not 100%. Another lie.

Do I think you actually called Disney and got their blessing to steal from them? Nope. Another lie.

Give them a shovel, and most people will dig their own hole!

Um, wrong! A crime WAS committed. You stole food. You lied in order to not be detected stealing food. Just because another unscrupulous person working in a different WDW location told you not to worry about what you did doesn't make it right. Sorry, but it AMAZES me how you are trying to get around the reality of what you've done. If YOU think it's no big deal, then GREAT! You will rest well tonight. But that doesn't mean it wasn't wrong. I'm sure I speak for others as well as myself when I say that I think your moral compass is broken. :sad2:

You know what? You're right. If the OP referred to what she did IN THE PAST while talking to the CM, it was probably just a kind person trying to make the OP feel better since there is little else she could do about it at this point...rather than an unscrupulous person as I just posted. However, I seriously doubt the CMs are trained to say, "Don't worry about it!" when informed a guest PLANS to cheat them out of money in the future!

Disney is expensive compared to what. Certainly not expensive compared to other theme park destinations, other major vacation destinations.

You have to compare like to like, or the comparsion is a mute point.

You chose to spend your vacation at Disney therefore you accept their prices just as you can chose what to spend on your car selection. You also chose to take a 2 year old, when you could have waited until the child was older.

So in answer to your question, No problem with the cost of food at Disney for children or adults.

To the OP, why did you post this question anyway, you obviously have your own idea of what you plan to do and you could have called Disney prior to this dicussion and saved pages of bandwith with something that might have been productive for others. :confused3

Everyone can flame me for this one....I know I'm asking for it but I just had to reply.....:guilty:
TnKrBeLlA012- I'm sure that the person you spoke with at Disney made you feel better. That's their job. Sounds like you should be paying her for the counseling session since you feel so much better. Maybe you should send her a tip, say 18%? (http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=845216) I've seen some of your other posts and it almost looks like you set these threads up to get this type of reaction. You may have just met your match with these kind people, though.

Just a quick question.....Anyone over 2 years old needs to pay to get into the park. Does your three year old daughter have a ticket and is she registered in your hotel or did the nice person from Disney give you a special pardon for this too.
By the way....LuluLovesDisney... You Rock!!!:cheer2:

I have to sum this whole post up with two words. You people are NUTS! You would think I just robbed a bank. I would bank my life that everyone of you have told a lie. Not a lie that would kill someone or put them in jail but a lie. Would that give me the right to carry something so stupid this far. Are we bored or is it that most of you like to fight?? I'm thinking that is the case. She turned three in June. WOW!!!! When I booked it she was two. WOW! We should be so worried. I risked alot by putting this out here???? Again the word crazy comes to mind. Every person I told at work today laughed at the ridiculious comments that some of you made. Calling security? I almost laughed outloud. If I were to poll 50 people I would bet 40 would agree with me. 100%! Get a life!!! Not one of you are saints. Please stop these crazy comments. I personally think alot of you thrive on posts like this. As I stated in the beginning. The price of food for kids is expensive. I don't care if you can or cannot afford it. The price is high. Even some of the people that work there agree.

Hmmmm....I'm thinking the problem is really your math skills.

Hey maybe I should try to get a free meal next trip I mean I am 2 (32) What if I say the thirty part really quietly? Do you think that I could get away with it? I mean the prices are just so outrageous!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:rotfl: I am just joking. I will gladly pay the $22.99 + tax and gratuity to eat at PSB because I figure, hey, princesses have to eat too!

By that logic I think I will book a trip now for fall of 09, since my youngest dd is 9 now I get to pay the 3-9 price rather than the 10+ price even though she will be 13 by then, right? NO sorry won't work.

Unfortunately I question the information you posted. I know for a fact that Disney goes by the age of the child at the start of the trip not the day the trip was booked.

I don't doubt that someone from Disney Dining may have given you that information but I do know it not to be fact. People book trips well in advance but ticket prices take effect the day the trip starts and according to most dinging CM"s dining prices do change if the child turns 3 or 10 during the trip. That answer varies however as you have seen.

Fact remains that you admitted to lying about your childs age in order to get a free meal - its as simple as that. Was the $5.00 entertainment fee to much and a rip off as well?

OK, this is really funny now - I got curious by the earlier post & looked at it; not only did she complain in order to get 4 free meals at Cape May, but she did the same thing at 'Ohana. Oh, and then she called WDW back and had them remove the server's tip from her free meal... I guess she also can't afford to tip.

But, though supposedly short on cash-ola (at least to the point where she feels justified in stealing what she wants), she mentions that she has "stayed at everyone [on-property resort] except the campgrounds, and I dont see that happening anytime soon!"

Presumably, while she can afford to stay at the deluxe resorts, she has to steal or complain in order to get free meals. And call back to remove the gratuity, because the server doesn't need the money as much as the OP does.
:dance3:

Just kinda funny; I haven't had any past experience with this particular person before, but this explains a LOT.

Oh my gosh...

OH, I think that's a great idea, too! Because we ALL know that the Cm's on the phone have all the answers!! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Sorry, I really don't mean any offense to the CM's. They do a great job with the limited info Disney gives them. This just struck me funny. I mean, what else are they going to say?

And I think the OP's identity has been stolen and someone else is posting in their place. Because no one that has been on this board for that long could NOT have known what was going to happen. I'm telling you, it's a case of "the MickeySnatchers". :scared1: :scared:
