Does anyone else have a pin that doesn't work?

Does anyone else have a pin that doesn't work? Mine doesn't, and it's been four hours since I faxed them the information. The wait is killing me.

Why don't you just call WDW central reservations (407-934-7639) & give them the information. They can check that they sent the information to you & apply the discount.
 
That's definitely what I'd do too. Much better to talk to someone than to wait. Also, some posters on other threads indicated they called CRO/WDTC to ask if they should have received an email. A few said the CM was able to see an email had been sent and applied the discount. Worth a shot.
 
They tried looking it up by my name, my phone number, my e-mail address, and my mailing address to no avail earlier in the day.

I called them back to follow up, and got the nastiest cast member I have ever encountered (she was so downright rude to me and I was so shocked that I forgot her name and didn't even think to ask her what her name was). She called guest services, and said, "You need to understand that it can take 24 to 48 hours for the pin code to be downloaded." I said to her that I can't understand that, and that if Disney sends me an e-mail with a pin, it should be valid when I get it. She said that there's a problem with mine, and went on to tell me how she has been booking people with pins without a problem all day (she was really pissy and sarcastic about it--I felt like she was trying to pour salt on the wounds so to speak). I told her I knew that, and that I knew of many people who got their e-mails the same time as me and their pins worked fine.

Before I hung up, I told her that I hope they realize they have a very disappointed and frustrated repeat guest, and she says, "That's too bad" really sarcastically.

I'm going to call back again when I get home, and ask to speak to a manager. I know that they log information on calls, and I'm goign to tell them how downright rude this woman was to me.

Mine didn't work either. Took alot of work. As a matter of fact, I received a postcard in the mail last month (or thereabouts) and that didn't work either. The CM had to make it work. The one I received this am was in my email, but it did not work until the CM MADE it work. Keep trying!::yes::
 
Karen, I received the email today and called CRO exactly at 7:00 AM. The CM I got also had a difficult time with my pin. She was very persistant until she made it work. I think it took her close to fifteen minutes! I think by her going that extra mile saved me from being in the same situation that you're in. BTW, she asked me what code was on my email and there was none, which also surprised me! Anyway, she gave me the code that she used in conjunction with my pin. Let me know if you want me to PM it to you. Try to hang in there, I know it is very disheartening when everyone else is gettiing this discount and you can't get yours. Good Luck!:grouphug:
 
I ended up getting a call from guest relations shortly after I last posted. The guest relations person finally had to override the system to get me the $49 rate a Pop for my dates in October (which other DISers said they couldn't get). So, I'm all set now, but I do intend to send an e-mail telling them how rude that one cast member was too me, and how helpful two others were.

I must of had cream of Ditz crop. I had to keep telling her I had email NEVER ONCE was i asked for pin number. I called back due to a question I had and another CM verified rate so I hope I'm ok.
