I looked at my journal today and realized that I've been journalling every thing I eat for going-on 18 weeks. I have never consistently journalled for this long before.

Anyone else journal? Do you find it helpful? I find it keeps me truthful and accountable for what I put in my mouth.

I use fitday.com to keep track of my daily food and exercise. I use the journal part of fitday to keep track of my numbers -weight, cholesterol, etc.
I always kept track of what I ate but find fitday helps alot because it breaks everything down to fat, carbs, protein etc.

Me! I have a Food Journal that I faithfully write in. For each day I include the food I ate, the point value of each item, and then a total for that meal/snack, and an end of the day total for points. I also have three listings: Milk, Water, Exercise and I put tally marks next to milk and water. I put my exercise for that day next to exercise. At the bottom of Mondays, I list my weigh in weight.

I also have a page with my starting measurements, as well as the new measurement for each following 1st of the month. :)

I use fitday-and have since day one. So it's getting pretty long now! LOL

I've been journaling since February 18th, this is the longest I have been accountable to myself for what I am eating.

I keep track of everything in fitday. I add narrative journal entries sporadically - when I want to note a different approach - result - or just "talk" to myself. I have been journaling in it since August of 2002. It is getting to be a very extensive reference source for myself. I learn alot by looking at my loss trends on the charts... and then focusing in on "what was I doing in that time period"?

Yes - on WW you journal everyday - I purchased at a meeting 3weeks ago a 12 week journal - its easier to keep track of then the thin piece of paper you get each week. It also has a section(page) to track the wgt lose and inches lost and a section each week to state weekly goals and then write if you obtained them and if you didn't a chance to reflect and jot down things that happen in the previous week that made it hard for you to stay on plan or tempted you to go off the plan. I know now(kinda always did) that being tired makes me weak to possible surrounding temptations and not very motivated to exercise and also dreary weather for me used mean eat all day. My weight is coming off slowly but its coming off! I think journaling keeps me honest about what I really eat.:D

Yes. I write down everything I eat and it's point value with Weight Watchers.
