I'm not talking about tidying up or running the vacuum. I mean real cleaning that involves a scrub brush and moving furniture.
I can't stand it. Some people get a sense of personal satisfaction from a clean house. All I get is tired.
I know that there are ways to speed-clean a house, but how often can you do that before you have to get down on your knees and scrub or move the furniture so that you can clean behind it? Cleaning can take me all day and then the house can be a wreck within 10 minutes of my DS coming home from school. It's so discouraging!
So, who else is willing to admit that it feels like a losing battle? I'm willing to let the dust bunnies takeover at this point!

Nobody is up there, now that the DS and DD are grown and out on their own, so I figure, "why bother?" I know the dust bunnies have really taken over up there!!! I don't even enjoy doing the "normal" things like vacuuming and dusting anymore. You do all that and the next day it's getting dirty again, ugh!! Laundry is really about the only household "chore" I don't mind doing.
) and finally wound up firing her after she caught her cleaning the bathtub WITH THE TOILET BRUSH!!
