I love this movie...I own the DVD...but yet every time it's on TV I am compelled to watch it AGAIN...

I'm sitting here bawling...'you died on a tuesday"....

man...i hate this movie...lol

we were watching it too...

LOVE this movie!!!

I love this movie too. But Ive never cried during it. Not once. I own it as well but see it everytime its shown on tv. The sweetpea has only seen the tv version and she enjoys it as well.
"Lt. Dan!"

I really don't like the movie Forest Gump. Yes, I feel like crying when it's on. To me, this movie is like getting ants all over and I can't move to swat them off...

We have it on VHS I believe. It's a pretty old one. My son had it on the TV a bit ago (we'd never watch it on VHS - actually I think our VCR eats VHSs now. LOL).

Anyway, I always thought the movie was overrated. Maybe if all the hype wasn't out there before I 1st saw it I'd feel differently now, but I just don't care much for it. Of course, I am one of the very few who didn't like The Notebook either, so :confused3

Oh, and Titanic while a good movie, made me mad because they took a real tragedy and made a complete story line up around it. Wasn't the truth enough? Had it been called anything but Titanic though, I'd have loved it. Gotta love Hollywood!

I remember when it came out and entertainment weekly gave it a C+. It was so popular that they reevaluated their grade in another issue. (I can't remember the "new" grade)

That was the 2nd movie I ever walked out of the theater for...the 1st being the Adams family when I was about 19...

The only other movie that has made me leave the theatre due to "hollywoodism" is Saving Private Ryan...my goodness...could they NOT tell the same story in half the time?

jackkkkkkkkkkkk jackkkkkkkkkk....I totally agree on the "titanic' thing...ugh...

I love FG! My DD and i just watched it a few weeks ago, and of course bawled at multiple parts. My DH refused to watch because he always cries too and hates it !

That's my ds's all-time favorite movie. My kids & their friends can pretty much recite the whole movie, and will repeat scenes - over and over.

I really enjoyed that movie, and still like it.

I think thats a great movie. Tom Hanks is such a talented actor. Yes, I always cry when I watch it too.

We enjoy this movie too. Whenever I'm trying to get DS15 to get moving, I say "Run, Forrest, Run!".

I love this movie. My kids too. they quote from the movie all the time. it's amazing how much they remember, but then again we have seen it many times.

That's hilarious! :rotfl2:

my wife was watching it and when I heard 'you died on a tuesday', I felt the lump in my throat. I went into our bedroom and the last half hour of the shawshank redemption was on. the lump got bigger. if the ending of monsters inc. was on as well, I'd be curled up in the fetal position still crying. where do I go to surrender my 'guy card'? we're not supposed to cry in movies. I'm out of the club. :)

Saw FG once, did not like it at all. Won't watch it again. Titanic, while I thought the movie was ok, I was more sad thinking about the real tragedy then the whole Jack dying thing. But my girls watched it so many times I thought they would have the whole thing memorized.

I personally love Forrest Gump and will watch a few minutes of it if I catch it on tv.
