Does Anyone Else Get These Phone Calls?

...That say you have won a trip to Disney. Ive gotten like 4 of them over the past 6 months. Of course, I assume its some telemarketing scam because they leave a recorded message and the number shows up "unknown caller", so we never call the number back. Im beginning to wonder if Im really missing out on all these free trips.

I haven't gotten the call the I won a WDW trip but a couple of weeks ago I got a call saying "I've been trying to get in touch with you, can you cal ****. Well for devilment I called and of course it's a timeshare sales pitch. Actually while we were at WDW the week of Oct. 26 our caller ID got 27 "unknown" calls and only 1 was not a sales pitch.

I get those. I've listened to it long enough to decide that it's probably a timeshare. I don't know if it's coincidental that I like to go to WDW, or if they bought my name from somewhere like the Disney Club.

My poor neice fell for one of these. They put her up on one of those rat trap hotels that you always hear about in Orlando... .... and it had NO air conditioning in July...

Did she check with ME you ask????

She had to suffer through a timeshare presention with Westgate for the pleasure of having no air in Orlando in July! Caveat emptor!

I've gotten about 5 of them. It's always..."Hi. Sorry we missed you. We've been trying to contact you. YOu have won 4 days in Orlando, home of WDW. Also, 3 days at DAytona Beach or Space Center. Please call me at......" Did call once, just to see. Yep, it's a hotel in Orlando. Not WDW. Told them no thanks. But, still they call. I don't answer anymore.

i've gotten those calls too. it sounds like a good deal but i have never called them back. if something sounds too good to be true it probably is. there is always a catch.
