Maybe I shouldn't admit to this, but sometimes when the boards are slow, I open up a couple windows so I can DIS on one window while I am waiting for a file to open on another window.

I always do that. I'm usually doing a few different things while on the computer and check in every now and then.

I do that a lot. It is just habit - before the DIS I did it, too - except now they are all DIS boards.

Guilty! I once had 20 windows open at one time! But I don't do it that often.

I have a cable modem and I do that. I always keep the main forum window in one window, then I open the topics I want to read in new window. If replying is taking a while, I open another.
