Does anyone else do daily itineraries

I have a spreadsheet that I use. I have EMH on there, park times etc. We use touringplans so I put his crowd calendar info on there too. We don't plan each thing we do but our selected parks for that day are on there as are our ADR's.

We go 2 - 3 times a year so doing "everything" isn't a priority. Each member of the family will pick a few things that are "must do" for them this trip and where they want to eat if they have a specific place to eat or try. I make sure to get these things in but that's it.

If I don't have a general game plan my hubby and I stand in one spot and say "what do you want to do?"
I don't know...what do you want to do
I don't care...whatever. Just pick something
I don't have anything specific...you pick...

etc
etc
etc

If I have ADR's at least we are able to move in that direction. :cool1:

OMG!!! :lmao:
You and your DH must be our twins or something.
We do the same thing if I don't have some sort of a guideline of what to do.

Just like you I have the EMH days, park hours, touringplans crowd level predictions, and ADRs only.
Other than that I'm pretty laid back ...now...:rotfl:

Before DVC I would have everyday lined up on when and where I want to be.
Now I just tell hubby which rides I want to hit at least once and then the rest is hopefully a much more relaxing trip. Especially with DD now, we are WAY more laid back. Everything is to her schedule :goodvibes

I think for us, it was getting AP's for the first time. Our Disney trips were hectic and there was a sense of not getting enough done. We bought AP's originally so we could do the two trip thing before the passes ran out. But I think we ended up going 5 times that year! It is a 9 hour drive and we only had one child who was in Pre-K at the time and we work from home so we'd just decide to go and then go a few weeks later. ahhhh...the good ole days!

For trip (leaving in 2 days :cool1:) I kept asking DH about what he wanted to do and where he wanted to eat. All I got was "evening shows" and "Crystal Palace"

Here's the rough plan --

Sunday: Epcot for late afternoon and evening, Illuminations
Monday: Wanyama Safari
Tuesday: MK, Crystal Palace for lunch
Wednesday: DHS, evening meal at Kouzzina, Fantasmic
Thursday: Sunrise Safari then AK
Friday: *fingers crossed* Shuttle launch in Titusville, surprise move to GF
Saturday: Citricos for dinner
Sunday: plane leaves at 8:30 pm

This should get us into all the parks and leave lots of time for relaxing too.

We always have a plan.. we find it maximizes our fun time...

Love it!! Me too....we use Tour Guide Mike's advice to plan. However, I'm laid back once we get there and am fine if there are alterations to the plan.

Well, 12 hours and 11 mins and we are off to put my plans in motion...look out SSR, here we come.
