David Copperfield is in town this Saturday. When I bought my tickets I had to choose between a 6:00 show or a 9:00 show. I wanted the show that I could get the best seats to, and that just happened to be the 6:00 show. That means we'll either have to eat before the show or after the show. The place I want to go stops seating at 9 and the show is 2 hours. By the time we got out of there I'm not sure we could make it to the restaurant by 9. It just seems weird going out for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner at lunch time. Does anyone else here go out for lunch on Valentine's Day???
That way we can have a nice time together as a family, in the evening. I've never really thought aboout doing it on a weekend though. But hey, why not?
. Actually DH have gone out to lunch on several occasions. Sometimes we both take a day off when DD is in pre-k and enjoy time together. It's easier and cheaper than a babysitter. If you pick someplace romantic it probably won't be crowded at all so you'll get a nice table and good service.
