Try going online to the local newspaper sites. My daughter lived on Kauai a few years ago and it's interesting to read the local news.

It's not a secret, actually... it's sad.

Someone I knew quite well moved over there in pursue of happiness… committed suicide…

Wis2InTink, i did:

...Police are investigating the death of ......... whose body was found...
...police have not ruled out a possible homicide...

... the autopsy report concluded that ......... died of a "self-inflicted" gunshot wound.....

My pet peeve is when someone pretends to NOT understand what is meant when someone asks a question like "does anyone reside on the island.". In case you aren't pretending, she means does anyone here reading right now on the Disboards...
