Do most people bring back souvenirs for their child to share with the class? If so, any good, inexpensive, ideas? I know my daughter's classmate once gave out some Mickey stickers after returning home. She said he had a whole, large roll of them.

That's a neat idea...let's see...character tattoos...I was thinking of getting some sort of individually wrapped treats that come in a bag...like some sort of character treat for her to pass out. Luckily there's only 16 kids in her class...but if it's feasible, I maybe bring something back for her to share, she's only in pre-school so just about anything will make them happy! :goodvibes

Have seen this thread before...some will disagree and say that you are "rubbing it in" to the children that your child got to go. Anyway, we always bring back items for classmates from any trip we take during school. It's usually a few packages of pencils - there will be 8, 10, 12 or so in one package so with just a couple we've got something for the entire class. Stickers, tattoos, Mickey suckers, you'll find lots of ideas to choose from. I also always bring back a little something for my co-workers. It's nice to know you were thought of by someone else while they were on their vacation! I have always enjoy it when, in school or at work, someone brings me back a little "happy".

My DD is only in preschool, but we do take back gifts. We have done stickers, little magnetic Mickey dolls, and the little washcloths that "grow" in water. I just think it's nice to share the magic. :goodvibes

That's a good point...I made sure I didn't tell the teacher WHERE we were going, just that she'd be out for a week...I didn't want the other kids to get jealous...so maybe I won't bring anything back..but I think they'd rather have a fun treat...they have snack time so I'll just bring something as a treat when we come back...

We usually buy a large bag of mickey head shaped pretzels for our dd to share with her class. They are always a big hit and very affordable.

The Mickey shape twisty straws that they sell in the resort food courts would be cute too. I think they are like a quarter each or something reasonable. My son brought them back for his little playgroup friends.

We bring back the mickey pretzels or the shortbread cookies or something along those lines for DS's class.

We always send a postcard to the class from disney. We send it the first day we arrive to make sure it gets to school before we return. My daughter also brings her teacher a "happy". Usually a notepad with a pen.

I would much rather you bring back a treat to let the kids have at snack. I do not want cheap little trinkets from your vacation. They end up in the garbage.

No we don't bring souvenirs home for anybody. Nobody really wants items from our vacation I don't want junk from theirs.

Also, although it is nice to think of a whole class not everyone is buddy buddy with the whole class. If you wanted to do something special I would be inclined to spend more on your childs friends and skip the whole class thing

When DD Lily was in pre-k we did bring back Mickey suckers and a seashell from the beach for every one in her class and for the teacher who is a big Disney person. I think we used our snack credits for the suckers. L&G's Dad.

My DD brought back the chocolate coins that have diffferent Disney characters' heads on them (you can get them at most gift shops) and a Mickey head-shaped pencil for her teachers.

My dd is in pre-k and we do bring back souvenirs. Always something small and usually edible. Last trip we brought back PEZ dispensers for her class. They were like 1.50 each and she only has 15 kids in her class so they were not that expensive. The trip before we picked up several packs of goofy suckers. They had like 5 in a pack so we only needed a few. We then gave each kid one of those. They were the big swirled suckers. They kids love the little gesture. Her teacher evens takes a picture of all of the kids sharing the treats and sends it home with a big thank you.

when my older children were in pre-school up to around 3 grade we would bring back Mickey Shaped suckers for the class and bring the teacher a magnet or mug. Now with them being older they will bring back closer friends something but not always, they have to use their $ now so it depends on what they want to do. My dd15 has brought back key chains since her friends are driving now,she is a cheerleader so has brought back a couple of her best friends on her team a small cheerleader minnie or mouse ears! My ds brought some of his friends last year (girls suckers and the boys some mints in the tin cans) They usually wait til the last day to do this. Oh my dd has bought these little plastic hair clips and hair tyes before too only about $1 for these.

We got the mickey shape suckers. Spent about $30 which i guess was not too bad. There were cheaper options like the coin chocolate, but I had already bought the suckers. They were a huge hit and the teacher loved that he got to share some of his trip with his classmates!

We always get the Mickey shaped Rice Krispie Treats and bring those back...
Last time we had 24 snack credits left on our free dining plan so they were free. Very happy about that!
