I blog on RV.Net and I've also done trip blogs for my friends when we go on big camping trips. It's easier than sending out a bunch of e-mails. :thumbsup2

I will take it as 1 vote yes, and about 199 no..... ok

I hear the term quite a bit...but I'm not entirely sure what a blog is either?:confused3
I'd ask one of my kids..but then I'd have to admit that mom doesn't know everything..and I wouldn't want that to get around!:cutie:

A blog is really just an online journal. You create a webpage and update it and write in it in whatever style you choose. Some people do poems, some little notes and random thoughts, some are more detailed. You can add pictures, etc depending on what site you are using.

There are also more formal blogs that are set up like an online magazine (which is what my rv.net blog is like). It's a place where there are many bloggers posting about various topics and the blogs are more like articles.

People like to be heard. Many celebrities have blogs now too. So do sites like Entertainment Weekly, E Online, TV Guide, etc.

Out of all my friends I am the most computer educated which is scary.

So you would have your own web page to do this...but a site like RV.net..they offer this also...I'll have to check that out.
Is there any cost involved..?

thats the point, I was going to put it on my site, and offer it for free

Most of the sites I mentioned have blogs you can READ. If you want to WRITE a blog you have to find a space to do it. Most are free...

You find a site you like and start your blog. Then you give your friends/family a link to your site and they can read along, leaving you comments. You can make your blog private so that only people you invite can read it, or make it public so anyone can find it. Some message boards let you put a link to your blog in your signature. Some people include a link to it their e-mail signatures.

I think John is thinking about setting up a blog feature on his website and is checking to see how many people would be interested in reading/writing.

I attempted to blog my weight loss on myspace..it lasted about 2-3 months..havent updated that thing in a long time now.

gotcha;) ..thanks for the explanation:thumbsup2
