Does anyone actually like the WDW coffee?

I put cream in my coffee and still find the Nescafe unbearable. Even mixed half/half with cocoa, it was just this side of gag-worthy (and all of that sugar from the cocoa in the morning threw me off as well). We were at a Mod in January and brewed coffee we brought from home.

We did get coffee at a stand in FW ont he Mission:Space side that was OK. We got capuccinos and added some Splenda. It was better than the NastyCafe, but still not great.

Here it is - plain and simple.... After all this back and forth business about the Coffee at WDW, the reality of it is:

Even a bad cup of coffee at WDW is better than a good cup of coffee anywhere else - because you ARE AT WDW and on vacation!!!

:surfweb: Lets be honest - that out weighs the negative in most any situation!! Especially the Disney part! Have a great day out there and enjoy your morning cup of Joe! I know I am!
Cheers! :laughing:

::yes::

I never tried the coffee while we where there a couple years ago.. I was on a only simply smooth kick- easy on the tummy ;) so I brought my own and brewed it in the room..
So is it instant Nescafe ? or brewed? I have a dolce gusto- which is a Nescafe speciality drinks machine- and the drinks are wonderful ;) but they are not regular coffee... but Lattes, cappichinos etc... and I am really picky about my coffee tasting fresh - can't drink it at all if it tastes stale, or burned... but I do need it to function in the morning LOL

Love this!

I love the coffee at WDW. It has a mild taste and does well in my tummy on a warm morning.;)

I know that the refill stations at the various resorts use Nescafe, much to my chagrin, but do the majority of table service restaurants at the resorts use it as well (with notable exceptions like Kona Cafe, of course)? I honestly dont remember from my last trip or if it is some bad memory I suppressed. :-)

I was horrified to read that there are actually people who enjoy "Mickey" blend coffee.:eek: Are you being serious? Yes, a horrible cup of coffee at Disney is better than a good cup of coffee at say work. But . . . how much would it really cost to upgrade to a slightly better brand of coffee? Even McDonald's can brew a good cup of coffee.

I have advocated Disney selling Millstone coffee - a good brand you can get at the grocery store, and not Starbucks, Dunkin', Caribou or some other brand that is associated with their own restaurants, and a big enough company to handle the demand. Unfortunately, you just cannot count on decent coffee at Disney resorts unless you bring and brew your own.

I can honestly say that the Nescrap at Disney is the worse coffee I've ever had in my life - yes, worse that the 25 cent vending machine, worse than instant. We will not eat breakfast at any Disney restaurant that serves Nescrap, period.

The only thing worse than Nescafe is my Mom's coffee--we are coffee snobs so we just bring and brew our own. If I had to go to WDW and stay in a regular room I would have to bring the coffee bags. If we have to drink it we just sip it saying something like oh yeah just like mamma makes!:lmao:
