Does anyone actually like the buses?

The buses there, and all the transportation system, is wonderful I think. Marvelous, as they say. I always rent a car, though use it only for resort hopping, DTD and a one day to USF/IoA. Buses and all work exceptionally and impressively well.

We love the busses too, In the "old days" most of the bus drivers had a regular narration and they were pretty funny (not so much any more, sorry tyler) I think they just got too busy. When they were building the McDonalds near AS, one kept telling us it was a Wal-Mart.

We never use our car at WDW. The buses (even waiting for the buses) is part of the magic somehow. Never having to drive anywhere...

I lov the wdw buses ! But not for the same reasons as you all do !
if it wasn't for my dad's bus hobby, I probably wouldn't have found my love for Disney.

We use the bus areas in the parks and at DTD as our meeting places!!
Believe me when Tyler was driving the buses he was hard to find, instead of finding him, my dad found another WDW bus driver he knew from a bus company up here in the New England area.

I like them too! I love hopping on in the morning with my resort mug full of coffee (no bus driver has said anything to us yet about drinking on the bus!)

When we decided to try AKL this trip, DH reminded the kids that it would be only bus rides (compared to monorail at the Poly) and both said they liked the buses!

My sister and I stayed at AKL last summer and enjoyed taking the bus. Since neither of us like driving in unfamilar places it beat the stress of doing so. We never had to wait long and only once was the bus so crowded that it was standing room only. No complaints from us, we'll be back.
