I've read so many bad things about how people hate fastpass plus and heard some bad reviews from friends here locally. It's really making me reconsider our October trip.

Does anyone actually have anything good to say about it?

Haven't used it yet, but it fits my touring style fine and I expect to like it just fine.

We liked it in early November. But...

- the system has changed now that FP+ is fully integrated for everyone
- we never used the old FP system to a big advantage -- only used to pull 2-4 in a day

So take my opinion with a grain of salt.

There are plenty of threads where people give reports of liking FP+. I've noticed that alot of people put their reports on the Trip Report section of the boards and also note that they are afraid to do it on this particular sub thread because of the negativity.

Search around, you will find all sorts of positive reviews. It really all boils down to your touring style and whether FP+ will work for you. We think it will actually benefit our family, so we are excited to use it on our next trip. If it doesn't benefit us, we just won't use it....just like we barely used FP-...it just didn't work for us. :goodvibes

I have not yet used FP+ but in considering a future trip I have been following the discussions on the boards and yes you will find plenty of posts and topics from people who have used FP+ and like it.

I think it really depends on how you plan, how large your group is, when you visit WDW, if you park hop, and perhaps most importantly how your visit depended on gathering multiple FP in a park each day.

Personally we never used more than 3 FP- per day, always hit parks at RD and visited WDW off peak crowds, so for us and many others FP+ does little to change our experience and park planning.

Now I do understand and appreciate that is having and will continue to have impacts to the park planning of many but that is not everyone.

If had the time and money to plan a WDW trip I certainly would, and not let FP+ change that, although I would consider how to use it most effectively for trip planning and park days.

We've been 3x in the past year.

1st time: FP-
2nd time: FP+ and double dipping
3rd time: FP+ only

I can honestly say, we like the system. I like being able to control my choices from my phone (yes wifi can be iffy at times, but I really didn't have any problems).

We are also rope droppers. So we can do a bunch of headliners at one park in the morning, go back to our room for a swim/nap, then go to another park and use FP+.

We went last week as off-site guests and we thought it was okay. . it's really not "bad" but you have to be smart/logical about it and not let it rule your trip. If you pick stupid times/bad locations you'll find yourself just doing those 3 things and stressing about it but if you have a plan it really intergrates nicely.

If you got to MK for 2 days, it's really pretty ideal as you can then pick your favorite 6 things for no waits. At Epcot and HS it's not really as big of a deal as HS is mostly shows and Epcot is more of a relaxed pace to walk around and enjoy. We didn't go to AK so I don't know about that.

For the way I tour the parks, yes I like it. I'm fairly local, I go at low crowd times and my family always has been and always will be rope drop people, so it definitely works for us.

I'm OK with it so far. I'd like to see a few things: increase beyond 3/day, especially at MK, allow park hoppers/AP to split among parks, remove tiering and make the website/MDE easier to use.

But, overall, there are many aspects I like and I'm fine with it, overall.

I've ridden Toy Story Mania more since I started using FP+ in October than I did in the entire two years preceding that.

So it works well for me.

Would I like more than 3, sometimes, yes. Would I like them in different parks, definitely. The tiering in its current form I really don't care about. The website is a mess.

Just used it last week. The fact that you have a TSM Fp+ before you get there and not have sprint to get it is refreshing. Also like the moving around of times if you get stuck, paper Fp you could not do that. The key is to plan your FP+ for after lunch, hit RD at one park then hop to another, this will be more difficult during busy times, so just hit the headline rides at RD at use FP+ for repeats. Can't wait to use it again in the summer.

I don't like FP+ as a whole and prefer FP- but there are certain aspects of FP+ that are an improvement. We liked the ability to choose our own times and have the FP without having to grab them at the parks. We liked the idea that we can switch times around on the fly, but it doesn't really work out in practice for certain rides.

The crappy parts for us are the awful website/app and the limits placed on the system (tiers, one park only, and 3 FP). There are rumours of the hard limit and one park only changing, allowing you to get more FP subject to availability after you used your 3, so that may be improved by the time you go. If those don't sound like they're going to greatly impact your trip, you'll be fine. Only you know how your family likes to do Disney.

I can't say I really liked it but I didn't hate it as much as I expected to either!

It changed the way we toured the parks. We booked all our slots close together so could do our 3 favourites in 1.5 hours. This left us more time for relaxing at the pool or chilling at the hotel.

We have always been RD people so we found we could still do lots of rides in the morning, we booked our FP+ in the evenings on most days and tended to leave the parks before lunch and return for the evenings. We have never done this before but it did mean we had a more relaxing trip.

We pre-booked our slots and only once felt a need to change them and that was easy to do.

My family did not dislike FP+ and we loved the old FP system. The new system is not perfect, but it's not completely flawed either. I didn't think I would like it at all, so I was pleasantly surprised that I did. Getting a FP for Space Mountain at 9:55 was great and for the first time ever, we didn't have to race for space. Having our times spread out over several hours allowed us to do some things we haven't done in a long time because we are usually running all over the park making FP times. We would love to see the number allowed increased from 3 and be able to park hop with them, but FP+ is not completely terrible. I certainly wouldn't cancel my trip over it. It's workable. And by October, it may have been tweaked some for the better.

I like the concept of it. We've done three trips now with FP+ and we've enjoyed every trip.

I wish you could schedule more than 3, and I wish they would get rid of tiers and allow park hopping. LOL. If they never did any of the above, I would still enjoy it, but those are my wishes.

I like it, sure it would be nice to have more than 3 or not have tiers but I understand the restraints and still like it

We loved it! We used it the week of New Years and it worked perfectly for us. Able to change times and attractions if needed was a plus. If the tiers went away and hopping was available it would be perfect to us!

We were at MK on 2/21 & 2/22 and we loved FP+. I even sent an email to Disney to let them know.
