After my last time down to Florida, I realized that my photos look rather bleak just in a regular photo album. I am planning on scrapbooking this next trip, but would like some universal themed pages in their. I have found tons of Disney related scrapbook items, but cannot for US. Does anybody have any ideas about what I could do?
Thanks,
Jo

I have started scrapbooking mine. First I started out just wanted to scap the big pics, like the park entrance ones, my ds with Spiderman, etc....but now I think Im doing the whole trip.

Mousememories.com has some cool Spiderman, Spongebob and Cat in the Hat stickers that you could use for your IOA pages. You can also use some dinosaur stickers or die cuts for JP stuff.
For my 4 yr olds ET pic--the one on the bicycle. I matted the picture and then I cut out the 2 hands on the front cover, matted them and put them diagonally across the top of the pic. All of this I put on a page with stars to help the "flying" effect.

Good luck!

I have scrapbooked two of our Universal trips. Here are somethings that I have used:

*Cutouts from the park brochures and maps
*plane ticket stubs
*Postcards that are in your room - the Hard Rock has great guitar
ones
*Welcome letter from the hotels - the Hard Rock Welcome card
said "Welcome to the Hard Rock Hotel - Rock and Roll!"
* Room Key Cards
*Do not Disturb sign from the Hard Rock (given by house keeping
for turn down)
*Napkins from different places - Margaritavill, Hard Rock, ECT.
*Business cards that Housekeeping leaves at turn down
*Kids Menu Parrot Mask from Margaritaville
*Red and Blue stars for Spiderman page
*Whimsical flower stickers for Suess Landing
*Autumn leaves and streamers that fall from the ceiling at the
Barney show
*Hard Rock luggage tag (given by housekeeping for turn down)
*Green leave cutouts for the Royal Pacific
*Paper Hard Rock Cafe flag that comes in your drink
*Red, white, and blue cutouts for Captain America
*Spongebob stickers - very easy to find anywhere

I also use the notepads with the hotel logo on them and write a mini report for each day to use in the scrapbook.

Happy Scrapbooking!

TigerLilly's Mom, those are some teriffic ideas & some that I had not thought of !! Thanks!

As for scrapbooking, I sure do!!! I save every little piece of paper, incuding receipts, tags off shirts & hats - everything!

I also grab a few extra park maps in my way in so I have 1 to put in the scrapbook whole & a few extras to cut up & add onto the pages of my book. Room key cards are great too.

I also ask for menus ( that I can keep!) when we go places. Sometimes you get one & sometimes they look at you like you are nuts!!! ( but in my opinion it never hurts to ask!)

I've even been known to glue in a few strands of beads onto the page !! (from Mardi Gras at Universal!):jester:

You can also scan in pictures from children's books like Cat in the Hat and comic book covers to get the various superheroes! Don't forget your hotel keys, they make good souvies. Make sure you take pictures of the entrances of rides, when setting up your scrapbook these pictures will do wonders! HTH
