Freshen-up! My mom's cousin-in-law (her cousin's husband) actually invented that gum!! He was working for an advertising agency at the time and sold the idea to the company to manufacture it. Cool, huh?

I just remembered this, Freshen Up used to be made at a factory here called Warner Lambert (now called CadburyAdams). I had friends that worked there and they said when they made the cinnamon flavor it had to sit awhile before they could sell it because the center was so cinnamony hot it would burn your mouth. They still make all kinds of gum, and when they're cooking the Chiclets you can smell it all around the area
