Does ANYBODY like "Stich's Great Escape"???

Unfortunately, my DD7 appreciates the humor of a burp or fart as much as any boy. And she also loved this attraction. The rest of our group thought it was pretty lame, but the under 10 set liked it well enough.

When We Went To WDW In Jan The Line Was Backed Up To The Buzz Lightyear Ride Or Was It Another Ride? But Anyway The Waiting Time Was CRAZY So We Just Blew Off :earseek: .

They just love the burping. If it has a burp or a fart in it, my boys love it.
:rotfl: Too funny! My boys are the same way and they're 18, 13, and 9. They all liked the Stitch ride. I thought it was just ok. It definitely is not worth waiting for IMO.

It's not my fav but I do like the introduction(training) area and I enjoy how realistic the big robotic camera arm things are. :flower:

i've never been on it, and with all the negative comments I might pass it by. But if your leaning towards to not go on, i would say don't go on. it could like ruin 5 minutes because if you did go on it and didn't like it, you might be thinking "wow, this was horrible!" or "they need to fix it up!" and stuff like that. i would say do some research about the ride on other websites too. but if you want to give it a try.

We were big fans of the Alien Encounter attraction, so when we went down for Xmas 2004 we couldn't wait to see what they had done to this ride. Alien Encounter scared the **bleep** out of us. We went with 2 people who were never on Alien Encounter and we told them how great it was. So we figured Disney would scare us some more ... WELL that was not the case ... I can not believe how lame this attraction was. Some bizare concocted story, lame affects and no way was this suspenseful at all. I was very disappointed. For the rest of our trip anything that went wrong or was lame we said "That Stitched!!!"

Me (22 year old female) and my boyfriend (24 years old) LOVED it. We thought it was hilarious and everyone in our "group" that went in with us seemed to love it as well. I am not sure why people talk so negatively about it. I say everyone should try it for themselves. :teeth:

Its sooooo bad!! My daughter and I looked at ourself after getting off and laughed and just rolled our eyes- SOOO not worth a wait or the time.

HAAHAAA THAT'S SO FUNNY :rotfl2::rotfl:You've coined a new phrase!!

I tried it last December just to say I'd been on it. Would I do it again? Yeah, it's better than sitting at a desk at work for the same amount of time. :earboy2:

It was the worst. We waited over 30 minutes for it and I will never do it again!! I don't think we'd even do it if you could walk right on it. :sad2:

I don't like the trend of opening attractions with characters attached only to sell more movies etc (i.e. - Stitch, Buzz). Remember the name of "Dinosaur" attraction before the name change ?

Just plain horrible! My 9 and 4 year olds were terrified!!! I was between sitting between them trying to calm them down, but they couldn't see or hear me b/c it was so dark and so loud. Don't waste your time.

No, we were excited to try it when it first opened, but will NOT try it again! :guilty:

I absolutely LOVE Stitch (the character)-- I could not WAIT to go on the ride-- but, it was an absolutely HORRIBLE ride!!! It seemed like they just rushed to put anything they could possibly put together because Stitch was such a popular character (A CM had once said that Stitch stuff was selling better than any other character, so of course Disney would want to capitalize on it!)

Didn't someone post here that one of the Disney executives went on the ride, and came off, and ordered the ride to be revamped to make it better because it was so bad??

We didn't care for it. We're kind of sorry that AE is gone.

We kept an open mind--BUT--

MY MOTHER HATED IT!! Josh and I didn't go on it (he decided at the last minute he didn't want to). Mom waited in line and just hated it. She is STILL complaining about it a month and a half later!!

Another big NO vote. It happened to be the first thing we did in MK our last trip and at that point had not heard all the negative comments, so we had no pre-concieved ideas. It was the biggest waste of time. The harness and the seat back hurt.
We will not waste our time on this in the future. However, you may want to do it just to say you did.

I liked the original AE quite a bit. I don't care for the Stitch character, but I'll try the attraction on my next trip. My expectations are pretty low. :(
