..........how Disney adds hotels to their Member Getaways? I just came back from a vacation in New Hampshire. There is a Grand Hotel up there that we stopped and had a drink at. It's in Whitefield and is 137 years old and has been recently completely renovated and updated and is simply amazing. Views of the White Mountains all around the place are breathtaking!! It's on a golf course and has a spa. Very posh! It's only been open for ten weeks. It would be an awesome addition to the Member Getaways.

Just wondering if anybody knows this bit of information?????

My first thought would be to go to the DVC website and look around for a link. It's probably just e-mail member services with a suggestion. Good question. Let us know if you get a response.

I am curious about this too.

I would like to see more choices closer to home, for example there is nothing in Ohio.

I am concerned about the rising cost of air fare in the future. We have flown to WDW twice since 9/11.

A few years ago, I spoke with someone at Member Services who told me that the DVC was willing to consider new resorts to include in the concierge collection. She told me that the resort needed to be nominated by a member with as much information as possible such as a brochure or web site. You may want to give them a call to see if they are still willing to consider additions. I’d be surprised if the DVC was willing to add another resort in New England. There is currently, IMHO, lots of very nice concierge opportunities in our area.

Email or mail in the info to MS and they will consider it. I'm sure there's a mixture of price, quality and willingness to work with DVC that is required for the distination resort.
