hi, we are visiting in july and the last time we were there was easter break, i know the hotels were sold out at easter time but we never really felt the crowds cause of fotl, will it be the same in the summer or are the crowds much more and overwelming. thanks, i haven't book my airfare yet a little nervous about heat and crowds but this is the only time we can visit with a child in high school know and the prices have gone up so much for easter time since we were there 2 years ago.

I wanted to go around Easter also but it isnt looking good for me either. We do also go during the summer and it isnt all that bad if you stay cool and throw in a water ride every so often. The last weekend in August is a great time to go. In any case if you stay onsite crowds really dont matter. Have fun planning!

fan2cskr, that 70 degree weather was great, wasn't it? it spoiled us. we are planning onvisiting the parks in the later part of the day so hpefully the sun went down and not as hot and we can enjoy the pools during the day. hope this plan works out.

We went the first week in August last summer and never noticed the crowds thanks to FOTL. The hotel didn't seem too crowded either. It was hot, but we took breaks in the afternoon and swam for a few hours then went back to the parks or to City Walk. It was hotter in NY the day we left - over 100º!!
Even in the middle of summer, we found the entire trip very relaxing. Going back next August - can't wait!!
