Hi,
we just got back from staying at the DLH and we was very lucky to be given a room overlooking the park enterence and the mainstreet station. I was wondering why they still play the music on mainstreet at night when the park is closed? (it closed at 7pm) we were in bed at night and was listening to it (I don't think it was turned down, it is at the volume it would normally play at) Most nights it did not turn off until 12am one night I woke up and was still on at 1.30am. Then on Thursday night to mum and I's delight they were playing the christmas songs that we heard last year it was lovely and bought back lots of memories :lovestruc

It's because a lot of CM's are still working even after the park has shut.

We guessed this maybe be the case but we was not sure. Thanks :thumbsup2

I asked when we ate at California Grill like above posters said CM's are still working and training they also practice the parade route stops etc x

I would have assumed it is because it never sleeps.... when we were standing at the gates to get in last week there were loads of CM's coming out - the girls asked me who they were and I said they are the staff that have been working overnight! Think it must be strange in a empty park in the dark!

Listening to the music playing after the park had closed is one of my favourite memories of staying at the DLH. :cloud9:

I've got a book called One Day at Disney which follows the 4 (at the time of print) parks round the world during a 24 hour period - many of the photos show the work that's done while us guests sleep. :goodvibes

That must have been lovely. When we were there a few weeks ago you could see them practicing fantallusion late at night from the castle club lounge.
