Does anybody have the Canon A540 powershot?

Maybe you can help...My camera does not seem to take night time pics well at all. What am I doing wrong, and how can I take better quality night time pics?

You need to use manual mode, the widest aperture, a long shutter speed, moderate ISO, and most importantly a tripod. Too high of an ISO will make it very noisy. Also try using the two second delay. Be aware that you will not gets good shots of moving subjects this way though. You pretty much need a DSLR for that.
