My DH and I are cruising for the first time on Sept 21, 2002. We have already booked our excursions. I was hoping some of you experienced travelers have some suggestions for clothing, toiletries, etc. Thanks!

Welcome to the Dis!
My best advice would be dont miss Disney Dreams!

1. Go to Palo's for brunch

2. Got to Palo's for dinner!

3. Visit Guest Services once a day to review your bill, and pay it down each day. That way you don't have a BIG surprise at the end of the week!

I could go on and on - the best thing you can do is continue to surf this board until you leave. There's always tons of great information here.

Take 'zip lock' bags for packing wet things (like swim suits and water shoes).

One of my favorite purchases on the ship was a 'holder' for your KTTW that you wear like a necklace.

If you are on a budget, take your own soda and check out the beverage cart on the 9th deck so you don't have to spend money on drinks.

Take more film than you think you will need (film is expensive on board).

Get a good night's sleep the night before, because the fun starts right away and you won't want to miss a minute of it!

Be prepared for a 'post cruise' depression (which can be cured by booking your next cruise! we are about to take #3!).

Have a GREAT TIME! Best vacation we ever had (which is why we keep repeating it).

Thanks for all your suggestions so far. We really appreciate it.:earsgirl:

was to take an "over the door" shoe organizer. It was fabulous! Really helped to keep things neat. I got one at Target for about $5.00.

Other than that - just have a great time! Wish I was going too. We are booking our next cruise as soon as the summer 2004 dates come out. Can't wait!!

And of course the golden oldie. Pack half of what you think you need and take double the money.

I agree with Noahsmom.....that over the door shoe holder goes with me everywhere now! I packed everything from deodorant to earrings, pepto to breathmints, and they were all in a neat see-through holder where everyone could find what they needed (without my help;)), and not scattered all over the desk, sink, and hiding in suitcases!

Since I am now hopelessly hooked on this board, I think I am well on my way to reading all of them! Work??? What's that???

Be sure to read the Navigtors closely. We thought we saw and did so much on our first cruise. Then we came home and while reading over the Navigators found out just how much we missed!!!

Have a MAGICal cruise - wish I was going that soon.
