Does anybody frequent the Rainforest Cafe?

I know this is a long shot but I was hoping to find someone who will be going to the Rainforest Cafe in the next couple of weeks. I wanted to know if there was any way I could talk someone into signing me up for the safari club if I were to send them a $15 check ahead of time.....My thoughts are that this person could use my new card to get to the front of the line and have a discount on their check and then mail me the card. That way I would hopefully receive the $10 off coupon before my trip.

So, any takers? I know it's alot to ask of strangers but everybody here is so nice and helpful I figured I'd give it a shot.

We're already members so unfortunately we can't help you, but can you sign up online or over the phone? You've probably already looked into that, but just thought I'd throw it out there in case.

According to the website, you can only sign up in person at one of their locations. I guess I'll go ahead and call and ask....can't hurt to try!

They must have changed that recently. We signed up in Oct 2003. It's the best $15 I have ever spent.

Don't know if this will help, but, when we went to the RFC a few years back we signed up for the safari club at the door. We were able to use the priority seating that very night (5 min wait on a very crowded evening) and also were able to use the free appetizer or 10% off the check perk. I felt that it was very "worth it" to sign up. I get a birthday coupon each year and if we aren't planning on going to DW, I use it at a RFC 1 2/2 hours away.

I think the OP wanted to do this in advance to get the $10 coupon that you get for signing up to use on their next WDW trip. We are already members as well, we have one locally, but good luck finding some help! It's really worth the price by far!!!! You really only end up paying $5 and you save more than that with your first free app.

I called the number on the website and the girl said I could do it over the phone...that was about a month ago, hopefully things haven't changed I need to still sign up!

I really wanted this too! It bugs me that it can't be ordered online anymore. There's no RFC in this area but the safari club card is good at Joe's Crab Shack (love to go there in the summer) and I'd like to have it before the trip.

That's very sweet of you ! But our trip is June 5th, so I still wouldn't have time to get the $10 coupon in the mail beforehand so I wouldn't want to put you out. We'll just do it when we get there I guess.....I'm gonna call today to check on this though, gotta get the kids back to school after spring break and then the real planning can begin!

The Safari Club card offers you quite a few discounts. When you sign up you receive a $10 gift certificate in the mail (basically meaning you end up paying $5 for the membership after you use the coupon.) Then, on your birthday you get a gift certificate as well. I just used mine a couple months ago at our local RFC- nuts, I can't remember how much it was for. Then, each time you visit, you can either get 10% off your meal or you get the free chef's appetizer of the day (unless you have a huge group- the free app is usually the better deal.)

What part of SC is Rock Hill in? You can use the card at any Landry's restaurant. We used ours a few weeks ago in Myrtle Beach at Landry's Seafood (although the server gave us a hard time.) Also, we are moving to Charleston this summer (I'm REALLY going to miss my RFC ,) and I heard there was a Joe's Crab Shack there, but when I looked online it wasn't listed. Any idea of whether or not it's still there?
