Does anybody else get really nervous a few days before going?

Hi - so we are two sleeps away from our stay over at Manchester Airport. All is done! I finished work on Friday, we packed yesterday, paid all future bills which occur whilst we are away, sorted our hand luggage, even had my car valeted... All is done for the holidays.... ESTAs, API, all FP+ made, all ADRs made... got all vouchers for the flights (even booked seats!), fast pass security, alamo voucher (although couldn't do online checkin), HRH voucher, Universal Parks ticket voucher, Contemporary Hotel voucher (inc. gift card)... we've even booked and printed off our Kennedy tickets..... oh, and customised our Magic Bands... I think that's everything!!

I'm now really nervous and can't explain why; to the point where I couldn't sleep at all last night and so I am sooooo tired today.... the excitement seems to have been replaced with nerves!! How weird huh!?!? I wonder if it is because it's been three years since we last went....

I'm always like this before a holiday. Not entirely sure though, I think it is all the planning and finally it is so near that I get anxious and hope everything goes okay for everyone else. Enjoy your holiday though, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.

We go in 2 weeks and although I am very excited I also feel a bit nervous. I think it's all the planning and booking so far in advance it brings a slight sense of unreality! Now the day is nearly here it's all a bit overwhelming that we will soon be at a place we love so much :smickey:.
I remember being in the car driving to the accommodation last time and having to pinch myself and take deep breaths as it felt like a dream we were finally there.
Happy holidays and have a magical time:tinker:

I am going in just over six weeks and I am already starting to feel nervous, but it's because I hate flying. Also I am going on my own this time so I am a little bit apprehensive about that, but hopefully everything will be ok.

Hope you have a really fantastic holiday.

We are the same on the final countdown to any holiday. I agree, I think it is down to all the prep work, planning etc that gives you those last minute jitters...!

Hope you have a fabulous time!

P.S. We did the KSC last year, and it was my DBF's holiday highlight. Enjoy!

I sort of get this but for me it's a feeling of something not being right or not how we thought/wanted it to be, than forgetting something. Before I go anywhere I imagine all the things that could go wrong (although nothing has ever happened!) rather than everything that'll be absolutely fine. Hope you have a great trip, just enjoy the couple of days off work before you go and relax!

I feel very similar. My excitement has been replaced with nerves and a sort of 'flat' feeling. I have a nagging feeling that I have forgotten something.

6 sleeps for us, 5 till the airport hotel and I can't think about anything but the massive pile of work I need to clear before Thursday night! I did get up super early for a Sunday though (6am) and packed before I spent the day trying to get ahead of next weeks work list. I also just looked at the Virgin flight films and they have two on the partial August menu I really wanted (San Andreas and Inside Out) so I am very pleased with that :)
