Some are knock-offs .

But some are just bought by wholesalers when Disney discontinues are pin series.

We get ours from people liquidating there collections and have many very nice ones at abut $2 to $3 per pin.

I use E-bay and look for Disney Pin Lots But not the ones that just have massive amounts I look for people unloading extras for extra cash.

Like this on it's giot 4 hrs to go and is at $2+ incliuding shipping.

Disney Pin Lot

I will look for a few days and be real pickey .

I try to find a lot of 10 or more pins with a few keepers and the rest as traders.

No idea how to get them wholesale, but you can buy a 4-piece set at the Disney Store right now for 8.50, and they often run % off coupons!

Sorry, I have no clue! But we have also managed to snag $2 & $3 pins at the disney outlets in LBV. We've even called the Disney outlet at Sawgrass Mills and had them shipped to us at home for that price, too.

Goodluck! :)

I have to admit, I'm confused as to why you think anyone is going to be willing to trade their 'better' pins for your 'cheap, crappy, wholesale' ones.

Ive bid and won a few lots where the cost, incl shipping was around $2.73 / pin. We used them for trading in the parks.

Right now Im waiting on a 10 pin lot, for my January trip - for a total of $30 w/ shipping = $3 /pin.

:sad2:

Everyone is looking for something different. Theyre not "cheap" - theyre cost effective. Theyre not "crappy" - theyre still Disney pins.

One man's trash, is another man's treasure.

But those aren't cheap knockoffs, Cathryn Rose. You'll have legitimate Disney pins to trade. You just got a great deal on them!

I usually buy mine at disneyshopping.com's semi-annual pin sale. This last time, I ended up with several pin sets that averaged out to less than $2 per pin, which is perfect for me to trade CMs for different pins in the parks. They're all legit Disney pins, I just got them on sale! :thumbsup2 Since I pretty much keep every pin I trade for, I have to purchase them cheap! (And then, of course, I still end up spending $500+ more on new pins at the parks! :faint: )

I may be selling the pins I have on ebay soon. I bought a bunch of them last year but I'm just not into the pins anymore. Too heavy to wear around the parks. So I will be selling them soon. If anyone wants to PM me I will describe the pins & what I'm selling them for.

That's exactly what I do. I also stocked up during the semi-annual sale, and have a few dozen traders, and specifically picked ones I knew I wouldn't be tempted to keep. Okay, I bought the ones I wanted to keep to, but the prices were great. Still, for around $50, I got a few dozen, which probably averaged out to around $3 a pin. So they are all Disney, most are LE's, and none of them are cheap. I still spend a few hundred to, even with my traders.

The problem with doing this is that it means you put junk on lanyards and take better pins off. Then those of us who are paying for and trading legitimate good pins can only get counterfits, knockoffs or Sedesma. This ruins pin trading for everyone. If you can't afford to buy the legitimate Disney trading pins (the 2-3 dollar a piece pones are fine), please find another hobby.

I get the feeling this may just be a bit of trolling...the OP doesn't usually spell so badly, nor in this style. Are we trying to prove a point, or get a flame war going? Just a thought.

My apologies, I don't know the original poster, I was not trying to flame..it just seemed to me like a request for where to find knockoff pins rather than pay the 2-3 bucks for legit pins (overstocks, discontinued pins or the like)
